Very Rare Vintage 1959 OASIS Fiberglass Runabout / Ski Boat Only Made for 1 year, the Oasis was then sold to Owens Boat Co. Ive Researched and found only 1 other in existence, This Rare Fiber Glass Boat was Designed to Look like the 57 Chevy inspired by the Rocket Era. Owned and passed down from Grandfather to Son and then I bought it and completely Restored it. I has its Original Split Trailer, Mercury Motor, Gas Tank, Sky Lines and Manuals. The 17'4" V Haul tapered to Flat Bottom is in excellent condition, The Floor has been Re-fiber glassed Heavy Duty & Transit. All Original Chrome, The Top Painted Metallic Baby Blue, The Boat was originally all White. The Original Mercury Kiekhafer 400 45hp Thunderbolt has been gone through, new hoses, bottom end rebuilt, it has low miles on the 2 Stroke engine. The Engine Alone Restored are selling for $6000, a very Desirable engine and built to Last. Original operating manual included. It has a Dual fin Brass Prop for fast Torch. Fully adjustable Trim. Completely new Custom Seats copied from the Original Template, Blue & White Tuck & Roll Nice 3" Foam. A New Custom Built Windshield made of Lexion copied from the Original, all new Rubber. New Black Rub Rail, Original Gas Tank, New Gas line, Battery & Battery Box. The Original Trailer has the Spring Coils & Shocks, Tires are Great & a Spare Tire. The Split Trailer is Very Rare, it can be tipped up on a Lake shore to load the boat with out a Ramp. Nice Feature. It is really a clean boat with current tags and registration. I love this boat but last year I took it out only one time. I hope it finds a good home...Trailer is not pretty but it works just fine.
