The motor is a 1996 Suzuki oil injected 65hp w/ power trim & tilt (compression check done & each cylinder is a min of 131). Floors are good with No rot or bad spots. Extras are down towards bottom of description. I have used the boat about 16 times on average over the past 6 summers for Walleye fishing down in the Kinzu and on Lake Erie. TThis is a great boat for fishing and is dependable. I have put alot of money into the extras (esp trolling motor and fish finder). 2007 EVERGLADES BOATS 243 CC Up for sale is my 2007 Everglades 243. I am getting rid of it bc I am moving to Kentucky, no need for this type of boat there. She has a 250hp 4 stroke Suzuki outboard engine that runs great. The engine has 373 hours on it, which will go up bc I am getting all the fishing in while I can. I just replaced the stereo, amp, and speakers a couple months ago, now she ROCKS. I also added a Minn Kota I pilot with a 3 bank charger. Northstar GPS and fish finder. New 2015 Continentail trailer. She comes with two 30 gallon bait well tanks. These boats sell new for 116k and they hold their value. The Everglades boat design hasn't changed, do yourself a favor and save over half the price by buying this boat.  This is a great hybrid boat, good for inshore and offshore. Just an all-around awesome boat for fishing. The hull only drafts 16 inches. Top speed is 50 mph and cruises around 35mph. Plenty of power for this boat, I've had a full tank with 5 people and topped out at 47 mph. The boat holds 80 gallons of fuel. She Has fresh and raw water wash down. Red LED interior lights, two flood lights for bow and stern of boat. Do not call and ask if you can sell my boat.

Miami International Boat Show with Bobby Unser February introduced 46 Cougar raceboat. Steve was a late driver change and replaced Dave Bell who had undergone open heart surgery the previous day. They were also on board when the Sun Coast to Gold Coast record (originally established by Kyle Petty) was broken in 1998. That record would be a precursor to the Miami to Nassau to Miami record run which is documented in this video.    On Monday morning June 15 1998 the crew of Harry Allen throttle man Steve Kildahl driver Kevin Brown navigator and Rich Quandt crew chief left the Marriot Miami Marina and headed out Government Cut (MacArthur Causeway) to set three new American Power Boat Association world records. Dave Bell Great Lakes Executive Vice President was in the drivers seat with Harry at the throttles Rich Quandt crew chief and navigator and Eric Lavine as the onboard technician.    Bob Hallengren of Caterpillar and Bobby Chan of Ringhaver provided valuable assistance in preparing standard production engines for their extended duty. 1998 Spirit of America set 2 world records Tampa to Miami and Miami-Nassau-Miami in May and June. John Cosker Conner Marine and John Pompi Marine Performance were also key participants in the vessel design construction and upfit.    the Spirit of America project was a culmination of Harry’s long time interest in offshore power boat racing which started with Cummin’s Engine Company in 1965 along with his dream of piloting the fastest boat from Miami to Nassau and back. Powered by the last of the Yamaha 50hp 2 Strokes, she jumps out of the whole and has more than enough top end to blow your hat off.I had this boat custom built by East Cape. It has been a pleasure to fish out of but now it is time to move on to other interests. The motor is in great shape and while it doesnt start as instantly as the new 4 Strokes it has always been reliable and nothing else make this kind of power in the same weight class. The only repair to date outside of normal maintenance has been to change the Tilt Motor and switch, this damage was caused by the second trim switch sticking in the down position while under way. Motor was flushed with fresh water after every trip.Included in the sale is the Yamaha 50TLR, Carbon Marine Mangrove Push Pole, year 2014 Aluminum Trailer with a loose spare, the Minn Kota Riptide iPilot (GPS) Trolling Motor with remote (added in 2010), Wang Anchor Pin with transom bracket and Deep Cycle Battery. The trolling motor battery is roughly a year old but has been well maintained, charges to 100% and has the capacity to fish all day. The trolling motor is attached with a quick disconnect plate and Battery Tender plug for easy removal when it is time to break out the fly rods. Fuel tank is 10 Gallon capacity aluminum. Read the reviews, the Caimen will float in an honest 4 to 7 inches of water depending on how it is loaded. Runs very dry for a boat this size and rides softer than most larger skiffs.
