2014 PORTA-BOTE 12, Porta-Bote in like new condition. Folding boat with no trailers required - can be carried on car top carrier. Light weigh - without seats 87 lbs. *** CLEAN NEBRASKA MOTORBOAT TITLE *** Hard to find Porta Bote for sale that has no leaks or issues and has barely been used. I am the third owner, and the first one never put the boat in the water, the second put it in the water for 30 minutes, and I have used this occasionally. This is the portable fold up boat and is the Genesis IV series which means that it has 670 lb total capacity (gear, people, etc), and can hold up to a maximum of a 54 lb outboard engine on the transom. This is my second one of this type of boat, and I bought this one because it had only been used once in the water its whole life for 20 minutes, and was stored in a garage so it was almost brand new condition when I got it. I have kept this boat indoors until April 2015 for this season. This is a great boat for use as a hunting or fishing boat on the lakes in the midwest. I toss it in the back of my truck or on the roof rack of our horse trailer, and no additional trailer is needed. I also use a truck bed extender with this boat (not included) and then you can launch/retrieve the boat by backing the truck up to the water. Boat is also a flat bottom boat so is extremely stable in the water allowing for casting while standing, and also allows operation of the boat in shallow water. Boat is very durable and made of heavy duty plastic that is extremely resistant to damage. Boat itself only weighs 69 lbs, and I routinely setup/take down/transport the boat myself. 12 foot folding Porta-Bote and 8 HP Evenrude Outboard motor. Boat folds to 4" thick by 24" wide and 12' long. Boat hull folded weighs 69 pounds. Easy to transport on car top carriers. The boat is amazingly stable in rough water. I have even had it out on the ocean. There are many extras included with the boat, including RV mounting brackets, 3 paddles, 2 anchors and a custom canvas cover. New 12 ft. boats are priced at over $2500.00 I will sell the boat only for $1095.00. Way less than 1/2 price The motor has some paint scratched off of the shroud from carrying it in the back of my pickup but has less that 200 hours of run time and is excellent mechanical condition.
