I have had this boat for 8yrs and have used it every year. We have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it but have purchased a larger boat and no longer have a use for it. I have seen other boats just like mine on here for $3500.00 with a 15hp and no trailer. Someone will be getting a good deal on this boat. The boat is in good cond - no leaks or tears. The fabric has some minor dulling due to being 8yrs old. The motor runs strong and starts with no problems. The trailer is in great cond and is very easy to launch and load the boat - it pulls straight and there are no problems with it. The Mercury Heavy Duty Inflatable Boat is ideal for professional or serious sport uses on the water. The heavy-duty construction, high performance design and, ocean ready features make this boat much more than a portable boat. Equipped with adjustable track mounted cargo attachment points, six external heavy duty carry handle for easy transport and launching, non-slop wear patches for additional grip, and grab ropes around the entire boat for easy entry/exit, make the boat perfect for just about any any of your needs. The boat can carry up to six passesngers and a maximum of 1,720 pounds with up to a 25-horepower motor (which is what is on the boat for sale). There are three different air changes and an inflatable keel for except performance and handling. The 17-inch tubes are soft for easy roll of and re-entry and make the boat very stable on the open water. We have used the boat all over - from inland to Lake Michigan and have never felt nervous with any type of conditions. I am selling this for a friend that acquired it through an automotive transaction. He knows nothing about boat nor wants to learn and has asked me to help him get his money out of it. I will preface this by settling some questions I've been hit with. 1. Trades really are not desired unless a car or truck of equal value/equally as great a deal as my "buy it now". 2. This is absolutely not a distress sale. The number makes this the best big power, updated, need nothing Formula on the market at the BEST price by far. 3. No he is not interested in parting it out. I was offered $12500 for the drives, gimbals and complete engines and does not have interest due mostly to time and space limitations. Now about this awesome Formula: Motors were built by A-Z marine in NJ. As the previous owner stated, at no expense spared. He had dyno sheets but don't ask because they've been lost in the shuffle. As he states; the one motor dyno'd 547 Hp and the other 542. At the time of build it received new intake manifolds, new water pumps, stainless marine exhaust (still utilizing Formulas beautiful silent thunder exhaust/swim platform), rebuilt starters, Holley carbs worked by Nickersen, all rubber new, all cables, new altenators... I ran the boat last week and it is super strong and 70 mph was effortless. It definitely had more but it was a miserable day and I was just making a quick run. The motors currently have less than 75 hours. The drives were also gone through at the time of engine build and the gimbals were new Hp assemblies. They also have drive showers. Hull is absolutely beautiful. From the deck down it was re gel coated. The graphics are vinyl and can be easily removed. The topsides of the boat were done in the original Palm Beach colors and flawlessy prepped and sprayed with Imron. All lettering and Formul;a badges were new, new hatch actuators, new hatch mirrors, new cp cover, new GPS speedo, Livorsi gauges, mascerator pump. The trailer is a really nice ACE dual axle 2006. The cabin is original and clean. Way less than normal wear, no odors, tears.... The cocpit is as you see it with the original Mcleod bolsters and is as nice if not nicer than the pictures. This boat truly is a No dissappointment boat. Personally if I didn't own and so deep into my current project I would love to own it. $1000 paypal deposit requested at time of sale. I will consider delivery with in a 75 miles at no charge or possibly up to 300 for a fee. The boat is currently in Bucks County Pa but can easily come to southern New Jersey. Very nice 2001 Sea Doo Utopia Jet boat. Great first boat! We purchased it as our first boat. Spent the whole summer on it and loved it so much that we purchased something larger. This boat can do anything! Tubing, skiing or just riding. So easy to control and handle.This boat comes with a 240hp V6 Mercury inboard jet engine. Great power and fuel efficient. It routinely hits 55-60mph with very little effort. All controls are easy to reach and understand. 40 gallon fuel tank. Plenty of storage space! The boat was just checked out by a local dealer, prior to lising for sale. Boat was found to be in good condition. It does have some stress fractures, which are like scratches on a car. The boat is in NC and as far as I know has never touched salt-water. There is no visual effects of being in salt water. And lastly, which I see is a common issue, is the rear cushion on the sun deck. They are held on by "upholstery darts" and one has pulled thru. The boat is fully functional, this doesnt present any issues. Carbs are in great shape. Matching Sea Doo trailer included. Trailer has been fully serviced and bearings have been repacked.
