1982 ROBBINS 29 Chesapeake Deadrise Picnic Boat This gorgeous Chesapeake Deadrise Picnic Boat is a one-of-a-kind Robbins 29 hull finished by Crockett Brothers in Oxford Maryland.  The Robbins 29 is best known as a rugged, reliable Chesapeake Bay Work Boat, but this particular boat was built as a comfortable utility boat that resembles a picnic boat more than a work boat. Unlike similar boats like the (more expensive) Dyer 29 with its soft chines that induce a lot of rolling, the Robbins 29 has hard chines that produce impressive stability, especially on the choppy waters of the Bay. Features include:Caterpillar 3208 diesel fresh water cooled engineRaymarine ST6002 hydraulic autopilotGarmin GPS 540 chartplotter and ST60 InstrumentsRaritan Lectrasan MSDSunbrella soft top on hard windshieldSunbrella bimini with storage boot that zips to soft top

2006 Mathews Brothers Robbins 40 Not commissioned until late 2007, "Check Six" is a beautiful custom-built Chesapeake Bay deadrise designed by Cecil Robbins and built by Mathews Brothers, LLC of Denton, MD.  The Robbins deadrise design is well-known around the Bay for offering a very soft ride in a chop, stability in a beam-sea, and exceptional fuel efficiency.  "Check Six" was custom built for the current owner, and is one of the finest boats built by the respected Mathews Brothers yard.  She has the sturdy hull of a true work-boat, and the interior of a fine yacht.  Inexpensive to operate and maintain, she cruises an easy 18 knots while burning only 15 gallons per hour (@ 1.33 NM per gallon) with her single low-hour (230 hours) Yanmar 480 hp powerplant, and tops out at @ 24 knots.  She has an enormous cockpit with 2nd steering station, electric-lift engine box with cushions, two fish boxes, cockpit overhang, transom door, swim platform, cockpit shower, cockpit U-line refrigerator with ice maker, rod holders, and a large cooler with cushioned seating.  The interior is "yacht-finished" and includes a single stateroom forward with centerline berth, split-head layout with Vacu-flush to starboard and dedicated shower to port, open salon arrangement with dinette and galley to port, main helm and convertible settee to starboard, and a beautiful high-gloss teak and holly sole throughout.   Other notable features include: Vetus Bow Thruster, FLIR night vision system, electronic single-lever controls, 9kw genset, Raymarine E120 electronics package, remote spotlight, ship's computer with Dell monitor (linked to Nav system, cable, and DVD player), Kenwood stereo system, 2-zone air conditioning system, dual racors, 4 new AGM batteries, Xantrex Inverter system, bench-style Stidd helm chair with electronic adjustment, anchor windlass, and so much more.  Please see "full specs" for complete description. "Check Six" is a very diverse boat in that she can be seriously cruised (perfect "Great Loop" boat), fished (although she has never been put to task), or day-tripping with a group of guests.  She is as beautiful as she is functional. Very well done!

This 1977 Endeavour 32 sloop has normal wear & tear for a vessel this age. It's been on the hard for about a year. The seller lived on it and used it regularly the summer before. At that time the engine ran strong, and the boat sailed nicely. The seller was in the process of updating the boat, but life has him moving in different directions now, and wishes to let someone else enjoy the boat. Stock #375878 ***SALE PENDING*** Endeavour 32 sailboat with new paint on deck and hull, Recent Main and Genoa sails! Get ready to cruise the world in this classic design 1977 Endeavour 32! The Endeavour 32 was the first boat from Endeavour and was actually the same basic hull as the earlier Irwin 32 with modifications by Dennis Robbins, the in-house designer for Endeavour at this time. She was originally designed as a dual-purpose cruiser-racer. A nice, clean, conservative, and comfortable design for cruising. The hull is molded as a single unit of a combination of polyester resin and fiberglass. The exterior finish is pigmented gelcoat and molded into fiberglass. The keel is molded integrally with the hull and all ballast is contained inside. The keel is the shoal keel with a max draft of 4'-2". The interior layout is typical with a V-berth forward, the head (to port), and lockers (starboard) dividing it from the main salon area which has a fold-up dining table. The port side settee pulls out to create a double berth, the starboard is a single, and Aft to port is a pilot berth To the starboard is the galley which consists of the sink, refrigerator, and oven. The electrical panel is located immediately under the companionway, and the stairs remove to allow access to the engine. There are 10 opening ports and two large deck hatches. The engine is the reliable Yanmar 2GM and the propeller shaft is made of 1" stainless steel, she has a dripless shaft seal and Max-Prop prop. The sail inventory consists of a newer main sail and rolling furling headsail. A lot boat for the buck, she's ready for the open seas. Looking for offers! Reason for selling is does not use enough.

It was garage kept for 15 yrs prior to my purchase and mostly garage kept since my ownership. Engine was shot and so, since I had spent 15 yrs of my life fighting a British engine, I decided to put a 1995 Miata 1.8L 16v DOHC 4 cyl, 5 speed transmission, and computer (fun) in it. It fit fairly easily....except the wiring job. Seems Mazda used a Mk3 Spitfire as the template for the Miata...go figure. I have been driving the car for 5 yrs with little problem. Only major issue was the pinion bearing in the rear end went out and so I rebuilt the rear end. I have 3 other project cars and this one needs to go so I can start on one of them. In the attached pictures you will see the few paint chips and ugliness, and some of the new stuff. Below is a comprehensive list of everything I can think of to tell you. This is a used car and thus no warranty but considering the nature of the car and the fact that I built it myself, I will give continued tech support for the life of me, you, or the car...whichever ends first. I will even help you do repairs if you want to do them yourself. I have an upholstery shop/garage. Sounds too good to be true but I enjoy sleeping at night and hate nasty phone calls....and ill miss the little guy.Engine: 1995 1.8L 16v DOHC 4cyl.Transmission: 1995 Miata 5 Speed ManualMileage: Car=Approx. 50k. You could get away without it for a while. Paint looks great at first glance but closer inspection reveals scratches and chips. Estimates I have gotten for going a completely different color range between 500 (Maaco) and 2300. The guy who painted my car still has some of the blue left over and is willing to cover and buff the scratches and chips if you desire to keep this color.Issues: Gets a little toasty in the summer, but stays nice and warm in the winter. This is due to the proximity of the transmission to the driver/passenger, and the fact that the exhaust runs right under the transmission on the drivers side. I recommend heat wrapping the exhaust.Gas gauge shows 1/4 tank when you are actually empty. This can be fixed by bending the needle a touch. Temp Gauge pegs immediately. I dont know why. The Miata gauge does it too and Ive replaced the Miata temp sending unit. I even tried soldering a resistor in-line with the gauge to no avail. The car never over-heats and though it runs a little longer than you think it should before the fan cuts on, its fine. Ive run it a long time and even let it idle for hours.Light smoke and valve ticking on start-up if its sat for a while. This is due to there not being any oil in the valve area after sitt For additional information, reply to this ad or see: http://item.ebay.com/161445328904#ht_1980wt_912 ebmid: 161445328904
