This vessel appears in very good condition. The owners are in the process of repairing the gunnels that need some attention, and there is a board in the main salon that is being replaced. The bright work is relatively current, with just a few areas that need minor attention. Stock #151765 Aalsmeer Yacht Inc./G.J. Dekker Design. Mid-cockpit, ocean going, full keel, teak decks. Perkins 6-cylinder, 354 cu. generator 8KW Onan This Dutch built Dekker design was built by the Aalsmeer Yachts, and is considered by some to be the Rolls Royce of sailing yachts. You can tell by looking that this beauty has been cared for by its owner as he sailed the Pacific. Previous owners brought it from Europe to the USA. This beauty is not unaccustomed to the high seas. The woodwork inside and out on this world class ketch is fabulous, and has been maintained very well by its 5 owners. Im not sure of the make of this sailboat, according to the HIN, it is Ocean Yachts Company, but I believe it is all there including mast and rigging, along with a JIB sail, rudder, seat cushions, boat bumper, bottom paint, engine mount. and I believe it to be an Islands 17, but not sure Comes with trailer and spare tire. She seems very sturdy and I don't think she leaks. There is no paperwork, but I can give you a notarized bill of sale. Would make a great project for someone. 1963 Chris Craft Sail Yacht 35 This Chris Craft Sail Yacht 35 is a sloop rigged, full keel, center cockpit sailing vessel. The Sail Yacht, later renamed the Caribbean 35 holds a number of distinctive "first" honors. She was the first fiberglass boat built by Chris Craft and believed to be the first designed by an outside firm. Sparkman and Stephens was chosen to design Chris Craft's first sailboat, even by todays standards her sail area is modest and her horsepower is abundant. She offers a center cockpit, aft cabin arrangement with a fixed windshield forward of the companionway. The Sail Yacht 35 is an opportunity to sail a piece of history, the first production fiberglass boat from a manufacturer who captured the imagination of boat lovers everywhere. 2013 survey on file finds this vessel in good to above average condition without any major damage. The boat was re-powered with a Yanmar 4JHE 44 hp. diesel inboard in 1988.

Up for sale is this 1974 Bill Lapworth-designed Cal-Jensen Pilothouse Sloop with 35 foot hull. William C. “Bill” Lapworth is world-renowned and believed by some to be the foremost West Coast Naval Architect of the post-World War II era, and Jensen employed Lapworth to design several highly celebrated yachts. The hull has been professionally reconditioned to better tan original specs, and is basically a “blank slate”, waiting for you to finish to your own specifications! What you get is a custom cradle holding a Cal-Jensen Pilot House Sloop Hull, 35 foot length, 11 foot beam, OVER 6 feet of interior standing room(must see to appreciate the roominess). The keel is encapsulated in thick fiberglass rather than bolted on, so it cannot just fall off. The interior has been removed down to the hull, most thru-hulls closed, and all portlight openings closed. Side deck core material has been replaced with fiberglass; interior wood core material covered with fiberglass; interior angles have been reinforced with fiberglass; and complete “shoebox” deck-to-hull joint reinforced with fiberglass. The entire interior has been sanded and gel coated down into the bilge, made ready for you to finish out how you see fit. As far as the hull, any blisters have been painstakingly sanded out, filled, hull faired, and coated with 2 coats of barrier coat 1000 epoxy, 3 coats of Interlux 2000 barrier coat, 1 coat of Interlux “Blue” bottom paint and 2 coats of Interlux Ultra “Red” bottom paint, so when you see blue, you’ll know it’s time to repaint. Comes with an approximately 45 foot aluminum mast with boom & whisker pole, which is shown on the foredeck. Also included is a reconditioned spade rudder with steering wheel, NEW twin long-range custom aluminum fuel tanks(that fit neatly under the main saloon deck), with baffles and sending units; added bow rails with extended teak-decked bow pulpit w/ double anchor rollers; AND added aft rails with dinghy davits and walk-through to swim platform. All projects have been professionally completed & owner has in excess of $100,000.00 invested. Owner is a former Coast Guardsman with Bering Sea experience, selling due to a recent extended hospitalization. His dream was a roomy, safe, strong, seaworthy vessel(capable of sailing around the world if so desired) with a fast, sea-kindly bottom, and this sloop was his choice. The modified full keel allows very responsive maneuvers at shallower depths and draws only 4.67 feet (Shoal draft). Spade rudder provides quick responsiveness- vessel can swing 360 degrees in little more than its own length!(which is helpful in a marina). c1920's Vintage Great Lakes Ice Sail Boat * Custom made in the 1920's for Ice Racing on Lake Erie, this fantastic piece of nautical history is a wood body clad in galvanized steel in a superb Industrial design, black and white painted wood plank support with a trio of steel covered wood blades to scoot across the ice and two wood masts (one with a yoke) to hold the sails and catch the wind. The Yanmar 2GM has been serviced annually in good condition. Starts every time. Limited sail inventory: main and genoa both Kevlar Edge stored well with plenty of life left.
