1975 Bristol 32This is a project boat. Everything is there, it just needs work. I bought this boat as a project, but don't have the time to do it justice. It would be a beautiful classic cruising boat if restored. I took the engine out of the boat to work on it. Universal Atomic 4, 30 hp, gasoline. Replaced original water pump with a new improved quick change pump. Engine starts and runs fine. New plugs, points, wires, paint. Can start and run engine as it sits. The hull is sound below the water line as far as I can tell. I have not had the boat pulled, but I see no evidence of blisters or damage. The cabin top suffered some damage, and the repairs were not well done. Easy fix. The swing keel cable is broken. I have the keel tied up. The boat needs to be on the hard to have the cable fixed. The mechanical systems are all intact, but must be gone through. The steering gear was moved and replaced, with new pulleys and cable. The wheel and binnacle are in good shape. The head has been worked on recently, with new hoses and other parts. There is a frig/freezer chest, alcohol stove and sink. I replaced the bilge pump. The water tanks appear to be clean and in good condition. Many of the tapered bronze seacocks are frozen. They are high quality and can be rebuilt, but the boat should be out of the water for safety. None of the electronics work. The rigging is complete. There are two mainsails. The one on the boat I have not looked at. The second one is in good shape. There are 2 or 3 jibs, all show little sign of wear. There is a complete set of cockpit canvas that never seems to have been used. The dodger plastic needs to be replaced from old age. There is also a light sun shade. There is a set of cockpit cushions that are good. Some of the interior cushions are missing, and the rest need to be recovered. The boat comes with a bosuns chair and safety harness. I also have a rebuild kit for the Gusher emergency pump, new cutlass bearing, new prop shaft packing.

A 1980 Tayana 37 US Coast Guard documented blue water cruiser sailing the North East, Bermuda, and Southern waters. This boat is very clean. The boat is cutter rigged with working jib, a 150 jib, staysail and new main sail. All sails are hank-on. A large well insulated ice box which has a Sea Frost engine driven compressor, however, the compressor needs replacement or a conversion to electric. A Dickinson diesel heater keeps one warm when needed.Original teak decks laid over fiberglass appear sound with no leaks. Chain plates are new with no current leaks. Engine, Yanmar 3QM30, 30 HP, 1745 hours based upon an hour meter installed by the 2nd owner when the engine was overhauled in 1998. Injectors were inspected and rebuilt in 2009. Engine again hauled and inspected with new zinc based paint, engine mounts, engine manifold riser, head, and LPG solenoid in 2010. Recommended up grades by new owner might include a hot water heater, roller furling jib and staysail, and electric refrigeration. The PPS shaft kit should be replaced (new, on board under chart table). Boat on the hard from 2011 to the spring of 2015 spending the summer cruising Maine waters. Just in time for the Season! For sale is a 1985 Catalina 25 Sailboat with PopTop. This is a perfect boat for day cruises or short overnight. All sails are in good working condition and the boat is fully capable of sailing, evidenced by recent maintenance ( totaling $2,851 with proof of receipts) in September 2014, including: power wash, 2 coat bottom painting of Ultra Blue with Biocide A.F.-GL, check over standing rigging, anchor light, new spreader boots and turnbuckle boots, step masting and basic tuning. Additionally, transport from fresh water lake in GA to Charleston SC ($1,718), new battery ($85), parts ($87), and complete safety equipment ($210) for over $5000 invested. Workhorse original 1985 Honda BF75 outboard engine starts and runs well for its age, yet could possibly use some tuning, however owner recently powered the sailboat for several hours from Ross Marine, SC to Folly Beach, SC. The boat is clean, has been sanded and teaked, however will need additional maintenance to see if sink and toilet are in working condition, as well as other accessories. Some lights do work inside the cabin, others will need to be replaced. The boat spent the last 30 years on a fresh water lake (Lake Lanier, GA) with a single owner. The boat was recently transported to Charleston, SC with the 2nd owner and has clean title for boat and engine from recent South Carolina registry. Final Disclaimer: This is a used 30 year Old Boat with wear and tear. Not all appliances work or have been checked for complete operation, including but not limited to lights, stove, sinks, toilet, depth gauge, compass. I purchased this Grampian 23 as a project-boat and trailered it from Florida to New York several years ago. Based on distortion to the stanchions, bow pulpit and mast foot, I would guess that it was dismasted at some point. I have not had it in the water and cannot vouch for its structural integrity. The cockpit, deck and cabin top show some stress cracks and/or soft spots. The interior cabinetry, shelves and bulkheads are badly water-damaged from standing bilge water. Counter tops and berth tops seem solid. The floor boards are missing and need replacement. (Solid floor supports are provided.for installation) The keel has been sandblasted, faired and painted. Original shrouds and stays are included for reference and measurement only as all have broken strands and meat hooks.There is a standard rudder with original pintals and gudgeons.There is a mast, w/boom, and a handmade mast-foot w/ hinge This substantial trailer was converted to dbl. axle and modified to transport a fixed keel Grampian 23. It could be easily modified for other purposes. It needs at least two replacement tires. The lights have been updated and are in working condition. Local pickup only.
