The Sea Chaser Bay Runner Series by Carolina Skiff is not just a Bay Boat, it can be used as a general-purpose boat for bays, rivers, lakes and even venture offshore. With the wide 103” beam and respectable gunwale height, the Bay Runner Series is a great all around boat. Whether you’re fishing, cruising, snorkeling or just out having fun with the family, the 220 Bay Runner gives you confidence and comfort.Carolina Skiff enjoys the position of being the top-selling boat in the state of Florida and right near that in most other coastal states. The company's flat-bottom skiffs can go places where most shallow-water craft fear to float. The 220 Bay Runner, like all Sea Chasers, boasts a full liner and V-bottom. With lots of open fishing space surrounding the center console, copious storage and a 52-gallon fuel capacity, this skiff can take you across the nastiest bay or even offshore when conditions warrant. Another difference between a standard Carolina Skiff model and the Sea Chaser is modularity. Standard models come with a bare hull so you add all the modular features you want. The Sea Chaser comes pre-rigged with a center console, live baitwells aft, battery storage, an anchor locker, a fish box, scuppers. Boat completely rigged with New Hydraulic steering. Put boat in the water after purchase of 200 XL Mariner, started up and left in water while I parked the truck and trailer. Came down to dock and Alarm was going off. The outboard overheated. Took it to a boat mechanic went over the outboard and through a compression check, he found 3 of the cylinders were 0-15 psi so she is in need of a new or rebuilt powerhead. Solid hull with a solid transom Keel is in really good condition little beaching and no accidents Almost no dock rash on the hull No wood in the construction and an unsinkable amount of foam Many really nice hatches and compartments that are molded and feature drains, keys for stainless hatch locks are included All of the original manufacturer wiring harness is intact and survived with very little manipulation. All of the original bilge and livewell pumps are present and functional. Entire original fuel system is intact and operational out to motor well The entire no-skid molded floor is in pretty good shape and cleans up nice. One of the most heavy duty trailers I have seen. It is in really well maintained condition. I bet this trailer could handle a 5 ton boat. large aerated bait tank is attached to helm seat frame.
