2005 Sea Doo Sportster 4-TEC,2005 SeaDoo Sportster Run Like New. Just mayor service done. The 155 hp four-stroke three-cylinder Rotax marine engine with a single overhead cam is the piece of technology to thank for such quiet operation. In addition, the engine's multi-port fuel injection significantly increases its efficiency. At around 6,800 rpm, the Sportster topped out at exactly 50 mph, which is close to Sea-Doo's posted top speed of 51 mph. Even at high speeds, handling was comfortable and controlled. Cruising speed for the boat is approximately 35 mph.The jet drive eliminates exposed props, making it safer for skiers to ride behind the boat. However, if the safety factor doesn't serve to lure in skiing enthusiasts, the in-floor ski locker and the standard ski pylon should do the trick.This boat is as much fun as you can have on the water. It carves through the turns and accelerates like nothing else of this size. Its perfect for towing tubes,wakeboarders and ski. Keep your babe happy and dry while having the same thrills as a jet ski. Just plug the key in and she starts right up! Great gas mileage since it skims across the surface. Lots of storage for a small boat including in floor ski locker. Jet pump is in great shape as she was kept out of the water and in a garage for most of her life. Only ever run in freshwater. Nice running low hours 2005 Seadoo Sportster jet boat 215 hp supercharged 4 stroke motor. Seats 4 people....will pull a tube or skier....pop up ski pull....hydro turf floor pads....rear boarding ladder....nice radio....new jet pump wear ring....new plugs and the oil was just changed at the beginning of this year......good battery and a very nice sound system. The boat has 156 hrs on it.....top speed is around 55 mph and will get there in a hurry. These boat are light and easy to handle at the dock. You can pull it with no issues with a v6 car. The tops of the seats had some cracks in them. Last year I had all 4 top seat covers replaced gray/white ( see new pics ) the bottoms are in good condition(grey/yellow)....the 4 white seat bottoms are brand new( covers) Check out the rpm usage from the Seadoo computer ( see pic) .....This is important to see that it was not run hard all of its life like a lot of other boats. A lot of these boats are run at top speed/rpms most of their life so you do not know what you are purchasing without plugging in the boat. Keep that in mind when shopping around. I have owned the boat for 3.5 years. The boat is always stored inside in a heated building in the winter. It also has new new oil pressure regulator and low / high oil pressure switches. Cut and paste this link on Google for a video of it running at the lake this year. You can hear and see it accelerate multiple times as I run it around the lake. The wheel gets cocked in the water and does not always turn. You can repair it or just replace it) .......2 of the instruments do not light up for use at night. The hull is in nice shape with minor nicks and scratches. There is one larger scratch on the front port side ( see pic) I did not buff the boat out this year. I just washed it. It has a nice shine without wax.The trailer is in nice condition....it has newer wheel hubs with bearings....nice tires and led lights. You can pull it anywhere. What you see is what you get. I have a new bimini top that I am going to include from another boat I had last year. It was used 1 time This boat runs well and should provide years of fun for its new owner but like with any used mechanical item it is being sold with no warranties or guaranties.
