This 2001 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer comes with a pair of Mercruiser 4.3L EFI engines and an aluminum triple axle trailer! The 280 Sundancer has been a very popular model for Sea Ray as it is easily handled as a day boat and is capable of being used for longer cruising as well. On deck, there is a spacious cockpit with fold-away transom bench and aft-facing cockpit bench. On the starboard side there is a wet bar sink with storage underneath. Forward is a swivel helm seat with flip-up bolster and a large companion lounge to port. The cabin is spacious for a 28' boat with good natural light. The seller states this Sundancer is in good condition. The boat has service records and receipts, and the engines are original and run smoothly, the owner confirms. The interior is in excellent condition, and the exterior has expected minor scrapes and blemishes. The radar arch was damaged by a tree branch (six years ago) and has been repaired (see photos), the seller says it still needs to be buffed and needs some minor fiberglass repairs. The condition is excellent. No marring of the gel coat is visible. Both propellers and shafts are corrosion protected. Engine hours are estimated at ~600. The seller bought the boat with ~500 hours on it and estimates he may have used it for ~100. A scan can be made to determine exact hours. The engine compartments are spotless. New stainless steel risers and heads were installed in 2020 using the same parts for the 8.2 l Mercruiser. A brand new 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit will be installed prior to delivery if not before. Stock #253001 Beautiful condition Sundancer 330! Loaded and ready to cruise!
