I am listing this for my parents. The boat is becoming more than they can handle. I just had a full survey with pictures done, if interested I can e-mail to you. The boat has 200 hours on it and is in great condition. Has never been used for fishing, or cooked in and has been on a hoist since new. No mechanical evaluation was conducted although it is always recommended to hire a certified marine mechanic for performance related diagnosis Engine: Twin, MerCruiser® 350 Magnum® MPI (350cid/300 HP) Serial Number: Port: 1A055873 Starboard: 1A055887 Hours: 189.5 Hours: 203.1 Multi Port Fuel Injected equipped with dirty flame arrestors that require cleanning (U.S.C.G. requirement) · Stock exhaust exits thru outdrive. · Engines oil was checked; level was correct · Serpentine drive belts are in good condition and properly adjusted · Fluid in power steering reservoir was correct and belt was adjusted correctly · Engine hoses visually appear good and electrical visually appears not to be tampered with · Engine appears dirty but maintained with no oil leaks or missing-broken · Oil-drain plaque is located starboard side cockpit (USCG requirement) Consideration should be given to replacing water pump impellors under normal preventative maintenance Outdrive: MerCruiser® “Bravo I” Outdrive serial number: Not visible Gimbal serial number: Not visible · Outdrive bellows, shift cables and hoses condition was not visually inspected at time of survey Outdrive reservoirs are mounted on the engines: fluid level was correct · Anodes (Zincs) could be replaced Propellers: A set of Mercury stainless steel propellers with three blades, that measure 14½” diameter x 22” pitch · Propellers turns true with no visual damage Steering System: Mechanical push/pull cable with Mercruiser hydraulic assist Power steering reservoir is full with no leaks detectedSteering fasteners are in place and appear tight Trim Tabs: · Equipped with “Bennett” hydraulic trim-tabs that measure 8 ½” x 12” · Tabs appear to be in good condition with no visual damage or oil leaks detected Ventilation: · Vessel equipped with two working “Attwood” 3” 12-volt d/c blower motors on the starboard aft corner · Ventilation hoses for ventilation were properly secured and in good condition · The ventilation in the engine compartment complies with Subpart K, Ventilation , CFR 33, Sections 183.601 through 183.630 Bilge: · One “Rule 1500” located next to the transom, equipped with a manual and automatic float switch · Additional “Rule” bilge pump located in cabin sole (flooring) · All hoses below waterline are marine grade and double clamped were accessible · All hose are original with both cockpit drain hose showing age with cracking and all hoses should be monitored and replace when necessary · Thru-hull fittings are bronze and were examined; they appear to be clean and free of any obvious leaks, All share a common bonding Note: All Seacock’s should be cleaned and operated yearly · Bilge is little dirty and requires cleaning (U.S.C.G. requirement) Note: bilge should be sterilized/disinfected with bleach tablets or hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria and eliminate odor Fuel System: · One fuel cell totaling 160-gallons manufactured from welded aluminum and located mid-ship below the cockpit sole · Fuel tank vent and fill hose is double clamped and grounded, but located where they could not be completely viewed without disassembly · Fuel hoses are U.S.C.G. type-A1 · Primary fuel filter in on forward bulkhead · Fuel filter is OEM and engine mounted · No visual fuel leaks or varnish detected at any lines or fittings. Meets current ABYC H-24, NFPA Chapter 5 standards and U.S.C.G. (33 CRF) Subpart J Sec. 183.514 requirements. Electrical System: · Onboard current is provided by three 12-volt d/c batteries secured in a battery trays in the port aft corner · Battery cable ends are clean but not protected with U.S.C.G. approved covers · Three marine battery combination/shut-off switches are mounted below the port side gunwale Engine mounted 70-amp marine alternators charge all batteries when underwayA 30-amps battery charger is mounted on the port side and is circuit breaker protected in the main panelThe main panel is in the cabin with the top is for 110-volt, 30-amp a/c circuit breaker and equipped with a polarity warning light and voltmeter. The hull exterior, deck, bottom, and structure were visually examined and tested by percussive sounding. Moisture levels in the fiberglass and coring were measured with a GRP-33 Electrophisics capacitance type moisture meter in strategic locations. Meter reads on 0-30 scale, 12% considered average, good and dry. Elevated numbers do not necessarily constitute a failure but can eventually lead to replacement or repair of structural members. · Stringers are fiberglass box sections made of is heavy woven cloth construction without coring. No moisture absorption was evident a no stress cracks or delamination were detected. · Engine room bulkheads and structure were inspected best possible due to limited access and found to be dry carrying an average of 10% to 12%, which is good. Soundings were good and no apparent delamination at this time. · Transom was dry with readings from 10% to 12%, · Bottom was not inspected at time of survey. · Deck was inspected and found to be dry 8% to 10% with no elevated moisture detected. · Cockpit sole (floor) was inspected and found to be dry · Deck hardware (Bow rails and Cleats) was inspected and found to be secure and wood coring below to be dry · Swim platform was inspected and found to be dry · Anodes (Zincs) on outdrives could be replaced · All hose are original with both cockpit drain hose showing age cracking. All hoses should be monitored and replace when necessary · Bilge is little dirty and requires cleaning (U.S.C.G. requirement) Note: bilge should be sterilized/disinfected with bleach tablets or hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria and eliminate odor · Battery cables and posts are not protected with U.S.C.G. approved covers · Equipped with an “Overboard” discharge for waste outboard the starboard engine that needs to be visually disconnected for Great Lakes use (USCG Requirement) · Halon requires routine maintenance; please read label on unit for directions · Flares expire and three day/night flares with current dates are required to be USCG compliant · A “Whistle” was not sighted (2009 Michigan law requires a whistle producing a blast of 2-seconds or more and audible for at least 1-mile) Appearance: This boat has a very nice appearance with no obvious scratches. Interior was very clean; upholstery is nice. The engine compartment could use a little cleaning but appears well maintained. Bottom was not inspected at time of survey. The pride of ownership is truly evident throughout this vessel Estimated Value: After reviewing a current 2014 “ABOS Blue Book”, Also reviewing current market pricing on the Internet, then adjusting the price for the Great Lakes Region and factoring in the above-mentioned options and deficiencies to arrive at this value. The fair market value of this vessel in its current condition should be: Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000) Various standards and recommended practices for Small Crafts, including current portions of those used by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and The National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA 302) was utilized as criteria during the examination of this Vessel. This Survey is an honest and unbiased opinion of the Surveyor based exclusively on the examination of the readily available areas of this Vessel, and not of the areas inaccessible due to Bulkheads, Fastenings, etc. nor does it address the internal condition or performance abilities of any Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Electrical device unless otherwise stated herein.
