2000 Macgregor 26X She was designed by Roger MacGregor in 1995 and is considered a hybrid, shoal draft and trailer-able motor-sailer. A spirited sailing boat, she has the incredible versatility of powering to speeds of 20 mph. This 2000 MacGregor 26X is the latest of the X series with stainless cleats and an upgraded auto venting ballast tank. She has a centerboard and twin rudders, just like many modern day high performance sailboats. The 2005 E-Tec 60 HP outboard is quite economical, very much like a four stroke. Cruise in comfort with a spacious V berth forward, pressure water, an alcohol stove, and 6' of headroom in the galley. Pegasus has a cabin dining area, custom cockpit cushions, and an enclosed head with deck pump out. Roller furling genoa. Sails are in good order. Ideal shallow water family boat. Centerboard provides an additional 5' 6" draft for improved performance. Easy single-handed mast stepping. This is a water ballasted boat, great for light-weight trailering.
