For sale is a custom built Flounder boat. The boat was put together in 2013/2014 by my dad (retired engineer) and I. It is a one of a kind boat and has had no expense spared. The design of most systems on this boat are well over the top and could never be done by anyone who builds these for a living (they would go out of business as could never recoup their time and materials expense!). It was a labor of love. We have spent well over $40,000 and well over a 1,000 hours building this rig. Read on and take a look at the pictures to see the quality of this work. Unfortunately, we have used it less than 10 hours since we built it. We just have not been able to make the time to get out more often. We have reluctantly decided to sell it. This boat would be perfect for a guide service or for someone planning heavy recreational usage. The foundation of the boat is a custom ordered 2013 Weld-Craft 1870. It has a 70" wide floor and a 95" beam. It has an extended flush front deck, non-skid aluminum floors and sides, a tunnel hull and huge pontoons/sponsoons. Full boat length is just at 20' and it has a 10 person capacity rating. This is a super wide and stable platform yet light enough to push/pole around. The boat floats in 3-4 inches of water and feels like you never left the dock when in the shallows . Power is a 2013 Yamaha 90hp 4 Stroke. It has under 10 hrs use on it and has not even had its first service. It is under factory warranty until March, 2016. It’s been thoroughly flushed with freshwater after the few occasions taken out. The air motor is a 2013 Honda 13hp with factory alternator. Gas for all both motors had Yamaha ring free and fuel stabilizer pre-mixed. There are a few things we are particularly proud of in this boat. 1) The wiring and electrical (and there is a lot of it on a boat like this) - none of it is exposed, absolutely everything that could be hidden was. Every connection is marine grade and shrink sealed. 2) The air motor has a hydraulic steering system (just like the outboard) with remote throttle and start. Again all the mechanicals are hidden. It is one slick setup that took hundreds of hours to make. But will be mechanically bulletproof. 3) The lighting systems are a combination of below and above water, and are also completely & fully removable off of the boat with al mechanical and electrical quick disconnects. All systems use LED (low draw) and are self sufficient off of the alternators (don’t outdraw the alt.) All controls are on the console. Below water lights are depth adjustable. Side driving lights lower 90 degrees to illuminate the water from straight above (while gigging). 4) The fabrication work is second to none. From the front rails with the integrated steering column, to the air motor tripod which was designed to have a small footprint and not take over the back of the boat like most others I have seen do. Other fabrication included a reinforcement plate across the bow, steps to the front deck, gunwale channel for wiring and a leaning post. The welds are first class and much of the boat was repainted after fabrication. I do have a full list of everything on this boat (which is how I know what we spent), but here is a list of the major items: · Wedcraft Hull: $9,500 · Yamaha Outboard: $9,500 · Honda Air motor, Arrow composite prop: $1,500 · Aluminum fabrication: $6,500 · Lights: All LED, 8 Underwater Stainless made by ultimate gig lights (9 bulb each), above water aluminum 12 (Taco brand marine grade 3 bulbs each) and 6 (marine grade 12 bulb each). All quick connect removable. Taco Spreader lights on motor tower. $3,200 · Steelco Trailer: Custom built, Steelco galvanized Frame, 3500 axle, galvanized hubs, diamond plate steps, galvanized fenders, LED lights, side guides, spare wheel/tire. $2,500 · 4 Duralast Gold Batteries w/two on-board Guest double bank chargers. $700 · CMC High Speed Jack Plate (rated for 300hp). $800 · 2 Teleflex Baystar Hydraulic steering systems, cables, stainless/rubber steering wheels $2,000 · Yamaha Binnacle, Ignition, Gauges, harnesses $1,000 · Electrical switches, panels, wiring, Guest battery & Shutoff switches, dual bilge pumps, horn, deck and navigation lights $1,700 · Boatright Aluminum Cavitation plate, Stainless Skeg pro & Stainless 4 blade prop $800 · Humminbird 698 SI Sonar, GPS with side imaging, Ritchie flush compass $800 · SSI glovebox, hatches, racks, igloo Coolers $500 · Anodized Aluminum 11' Gig poles $300 With the exception of the Aluminum fabrication (which was done offsite), all of the above are material costs only! It took us about a year to build this boat and over 1,000 hours of labor is not factored in. There is probably another $2,000 in small hardware that I did not itemize. This is a rare chance to own one of the nicest and cleanest built and equipped flounder boats ever made. You will not be able to take it anywhere without someone asking a ton of questions about it. I have clear Texas titles for the Boat and Motor. The trailer will be sold with a bill of sale only. I am not providing my phone number in this listing to avoid advertisers. If you are seriously interested and have some questions, drop me your phone number through Ebay and I will be glad to call you. I require a $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment is due within 7 days by wire transfer, cashier's check or cash (in person). If you are not okay with these terms, please don't bid. The boat is located in Sugar Land, Texas 77479. As I have also listed the boat for sale locally, this listing can be withdrawn at anytime.

Chris Craft enthusiasts haven’t had much to cheer about in recent years when it comes to well-styled boats, but the 328 combines several nice design touches wrapped up in a conservative but still contemporary package. She’s constructed on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a wide beam, and her centerline helm position (as opposed to the traditional starboard side console) is somewhat unique. Belowdecks, the mid-cabin floor-plan is quite spacious for a boat this size. The layout is fairly conventional with double berths fore and aft, a small galley and a head with shower. The Crowne’s anchor arrangement is pretty slick—a concealed windlass lowers the self-stowing anchor through an opening beneath the bow. Additional features include a walk-through windshield, an electric engine compartment hatch, and transom door. Among several engine options, twin 5.7-liter Volvo I/Os cruise at 23 knots and reach a top speed of 36–37 knots
