Herreshoff Eagle, 22 ft., 1974 My father owns this boat and questions can be directed to him via: 732.671.2477 Stately daysailer and elegant weekend cruiser designed by famed naval architect Halsey Herreshoff. You either know about the Eagle or you dont. For those who do and have had the pleasure of sailing one, it is considered of of the best designed day sailers ever built. Easy to handle alone, but with room for 4-6. It is stable and very manuverable. With the centerboard up you can bring it into very shallow water. This 22 footer, with classic lines, is for those not satisfied with the ordinary. Gaff rigged sloop, club footed self tending working jib, and topsail. The Eagle sails smartly; shallow draft and retractable center board makes the Eagle easily trailable; all haylards go directly to the cockpit; rigging blocks of wooden or bronze; Spacious cockpit, roomy 6'-6" berths , comfortable handling are worthy of 'big boat' features. Boom tent permits ready, roomy cockpit sleeping. Bowsprit with Eagle figurehead; extraordinary amount of handcrafted teak. There are two small rotten spots of teak that will need fixing. Fiberglass construction, 5 bronze portholes (4 fixed, 1 opening) It also comes with opening portholes and screens. All sails, tent, and cushions in extremely good condition. The included trailer has not moved in over 20 years and we cannot vouch for its roadworthy ability. Buyer must inspect trailer and pay in full before attempting to move the boat. At the very least new tires will be needed. 1994 Custom Ketch Dashew Style 4JH2-HTBE Health concerns force another price reduction. Reasonable offers encouraged.  "Myth" fits the genre of the Dashew style of fast cruisers like the Sundeer and Deerfoot ranges. Fast cruising that allows one to outrun weather systems and shorten passage times while minimizing rolling and pitching is an enticing alternative to sailing heavy boats that have to motor in light air. Myth has a lightweight epoxy and carbon strengthened construction on a long waterline with moderate six foot draft and a manageable sailplan split between two masts that can pass under ICW bridges. The deck and hull are constructed with Tri-axial fiberglass using only epoxy resin over a Kledgicell foam core. The hull core alone provides this 24,000 pound yacht with 48,120 pounds of ultimate buoyancy. High stress areas on either side of the keel are re-inforced with carbon fiber. Flush decks, center cockpit and a hard dodger complete a design package that reeks of speed and efficiency. The  interior is well lit with white vertical surfaces and overhead. The layout features a desirable owner's aft stateroom with center-line double berth, extensive storage and an engine room that allows easy access to all sides of the motor and systems. The galley is of small apartment proportions in terms of sinks, counter space and storage. The owners of Myth sail to the Caribbean, Florida or the Bahamas each year at speed and in safety. 1975 Van De Stadt 45 Cutter Coquette is a 1975 45-foot Van de Stadt cutter, for sale by motivated seller. The Van de Stadt pedigree is obvious in this sturdy vessel (google "Van de Stadt Hawk" to read about another Van de Stadt). She has no deck coring, so deck rot is not a worry like so many other vessels of her age. Instead, the shipyard used fiberglass stringers in the solid fiberglass hull and deck. A long fin keel and spade rudder make her a great sailer upwind or down. She has safely sailed across the ocean from S. Africa and has circumnavigated the Caribbean several times. She's also been a comfortable liveaboard and local cruiser.Layout: Forward is a large six-and-a-half-foot long V-berth with storage along the hull as well as underneath. A hatch brings in cool breezes. Just aft of the V-berth is a hanging locker to starboard and large shelf storage to port. Moving aft, to port is a large double-bunk mid-cabin with storage in drawers as well as underneath. To starboard is the head, with a famous uncloggable Lavac head. There is a sink and even a small bathtub along with three cabinets. Moving aft is the large saloon, with a long settee to starboard, backed by large cabinets and underneath storage. A vented, bulkhead mounted kerosene heater can heat the whole area on cool nights. To port is a beautifully finished teak table with an L-shaped seating area. The table has an extra fold up leaf for more space. The flat floor in the saloon is carpeted, with access to the 120-gallon water tank and 70-gallon diesel tank underneath. Further aft to port is the galley with new Corian counters, a beautiful stainless and brass Taylor's kerosene stove/oven, and a large refrigerator (needs conversion) recessed into the counter. There's a stainless sink with hand and foot pumps; they are interchangeable and allow saltwater or freshwater pumping. To starboard is a navigation station with four large drawers for charts and additional storage. Aft of the nav station is a long quarter berth with storage underneath. Moving aft is the cockpit, large enough to be comfortable, small enough to be safe in a large seaway. Teak cockpit grates cover the cockpit floor and surround the Edson steering station. Teak inserts are positioned on the fiberglass seats. Like many Van de Stadts, Coquette is equipped with a large hard dodger that protects from wind and spray. The dodger even has a hatch. Two very large self-tailing winches handle foresail duty and two smaller ones take care of the staysail. Aft of the cockpit is a separate aft cabin, complete with a large berth and sitting area with table, lights, a small sink and head. Moving aft is a huge lazarette for fenders, lines, and life jackets.Coquette is powered by a reliable Perkins 4-108 diesel engine, completely rebuilt about 500 hours ago. A feathering Max Prop gives her amazing thrust in forward and reverse.Draws 6 feet with a 12-foo

1996 Hunter 336 Broker’s comments:Finding that first family boat that fits the many checkmarks isn’t easy. Size, ease of use, safety sleeping arrangements, engine, rig and price; the Hunter 336 checks them all! Not too big and not too small, easily sailed by one or room for everyone especially with the 2 stern rails seats and large cockpit it’s hard to beat this model. Knows for quality construction and fine sailing abilities, Hunter fits the bill as it is built in the USA for the sailor looking for a boat without the maintenance of exterior wood and difficult systems to keep up on. “Hummer” comes to us from a family who has moved on from sailing and offers a great opportunity at a very realistic asking price. Description:The Hunter 336 offers the cruising sailor a great layout: a large open salon with a full wrap around settee and forward V-berth is perfect for those who like to entertain. Warm hand-rubbed teak, great looking ash accents, and durable designer fabrics throughout. The full service galley was given tremendous thought and design input. The sink, for instance, includes twin, deep basins, dual cover-cutting boards, and a separate drain board - all done in tough fiberglass for easy cleaning and maintenance. The built-in dish rack holds the standard non-slip dishes in place and provides a handy sink light as well. The icebox includes a hydraulic assist to keep it open while searching for that last onion or tomato. Aft, you'll see an extra-wide queen size berth, hanging locker and plenty of storage. The unique cockpit design allows for more headroom down below, where you really need it. Topsides, by bringing the coaming outboard to the rail, more usable space has been ergonomically carved out of the cockpit, providing for a custom steering console complete with tables and drink storage. The helm seat actually tilts back to become the boarding step, and as in all Hunters, there is a superior cockpit and swim platform storage. Hunter believes that a boat should perform as well as it looks, and the 336 with its powerful rig is no exception. It utilizes large-roach main, full battens, and a high aspect ratio jib. The 336 makes shorthanded sailing a snap. Small, but important, touches like twin Dorade vents, integral anchor rollers, midship cleats, and electronics pod are all included aboard the 336.

The available head fits under the V-berth and can be enclosed for privacy. There is storage below all the berths and in the four large zippered compartments in the hull liner. A large removable cooler with teak step pad is standard equipment. The adjustable ball bearing traveler, recessed genoa track with the low lead cars, inboard genoa tracks on the cabin top, internal halyards led aft, bow pulpit, lifelines and stanchions are all standard on the Catalina Capri 22. The deck is finished with an attractive non-skid pattern for secure footing. The cockpit has been designed with the human body in mind. The seat backs are angled and contoured to provide comfortable seating at any angle. The Catalina Capri 22 was designed to be easy to sail and rig, while incorporating all the performance and sail-handling features experienced sailors expect. The fractional rig sail plan puts most of the "horsepower" in the easily controlled mainsail. A small lapper jib can be used for shorthanded sailing, allowing you to enjoy excellent performance without working too hard. The high aspect ratio, lead fin keel is encased in a fiberglass jacket for optimum shape control and outstanding windward performance, the optional wing keel provides optimum performance for minimum draft. The state-of-the-art elliptical rudder provides full control and a docile, well-balanced helm. The available racing package provides all the rigging necessary for competition in the toughest fleets at a modest price.

2003 Precision 23 With today's medium-size family cars, the Precision 23 might well be termed a "maxi-trailerable." It far outstrips existing boats in terms of usable space, both on deck and below, with bulkheads intentionally trimmed back to avoid subdividing the visual space. The Precision 23 hull represents a very careful refinement of the basic form that has proven so successful in all of Precision's trailerable cruisers, featuring "racer sharp" waterline entry, substantial flare in the topside forward, and powerful quarters that taper to a shapely and relatively small transom. This combination of features provides a reassuring margin of both reserve buoyancy forward and "knockdown stability." The well-proven keel-centerboard combination is the most practical solution for combining upwind efficiency with very shoal draft. The long, shallow keel, kick-up rudder, and non-corroding fiberglass centerboard of the P-23 are all essential to her remarkable upwind performance. The fixed portion of the keel not only houses the board completely below the cabin sole, but it also allows the ballast to be placed as low as possible for increased stability. For trailerable boats, winged keels are more of an inexpensive expedient than a sensible design. In order to be effective with the very shallow draft required for trailering, the wings have to be so broad as to be awkward and prone to damage at the launching ramp, and very difficult to work free from the inevitable mud banks. The simple fractional rig of the P-23 features chainplates placed well inboard, another vital ingredient to her impressive speed to windward. Her mainsail is very large in order to provide good performance without the jib when desired. The cockpit is 7 feet 3 inches long, with coamings high enough to keep the crew securely inside, and the low and sleekly-styled cabin house provides excellent visibility forward. Special emphasis has gone into giving the P-23 her particularly bright and uncluttered interior. The typical intrusive mast compression post is replaced by a rugged overhead support beam. The especially large companionway, cabin windows and forward hatch contribute to the feeling of light and open space. The double berth forward is generous, and there are full-size berths aft which will accommodate three, although the expectation is that she will be cruised most often by a family, or perhaps two couples. A space for portable head is forward, and the fixed galley is aft, where it is convenient to both cabin and cockpit. Cushioned backrests amidships provide comfortable seating for up to six. Both seats and coamings are precisely angled for maximum comfort both upright and heeled, the result of very careful ergonomic design development. There is an anchor locker forward, a fuel tank storage bin to port, and a large cockpit locker with storage shelf to starboard.

I'm selling my Precision 14. Although I've thoroughly enjoyed sailing it, I've found as I've grown older, I need a smaller boat if I wish to sail alone. It's a great sailboat for up to four people, easy to sit on the sides. I originally chose it because you can easily sit and sail. It is great to sail with the mainsail and the jib. ....a very pretty boat. The sailboat is used but in very good shape. I listed it as good because excellent seemed like a stretch for a used boat, but it's a good one. There are a few bubbles on the fiberglass which I ignore but a new owner might want to fix. The bailer is new as is the rear plug. The tiller is fine; the centerboard has a small nick out of the end. All of the wood is good. Everything works. The sailboat comes with a Cox trailer with new front roller and a connection in the middle so you can tip the boat into the water. The bearings on the trailer have just been repacked and the tires are new. The wiring harness, wires and lights are also new. If you don't want the trailer, then deduct $400 from the price. Welcome to the world of NONSUCH sailing: If you are familiar with the uniqueness of the NONSUCH, please procede below, if not, please Google Cruising World .com for a full review and history of NONSUCH and why it is such an incredible boat. I tried to post the full link below but EBAY forced me to remove it. If you add a www in front of the link below and cut and paste it into google search, the article should come right up. cruisingworld.com/sailboats/boat-reviews/nonsuch-30-an-utterly-uncomplicated-cruiser Caution: The reason we have not placed this boat in the water is because we want any prospective buyer to be re-assured that the boat is just as perfect below the waterline as it is topside. You can run a moisture meter anywhere you want on "Sophisti-Kat" and you will find a boat as dry as it was the day it came from the factory. Beware of any boat being sold that is already in the water and make sure to have the owner place it on “The Hard” before making your purchase so you can make sure you are getting a sound boat. Many older boats are placed in the water when being sold to hide blisters and saturated fiberglass. Now let’s get started...........please review my feedback so you can be assured that you are buying from a provider with the utmost integrity. I pride myself on only selling excellent product that buyers will be proud of for years to come. This boat is my Father's boat, he is the original owner and the boat has always been in our family. Welcome to my auction for "Sophisti-Kat" a 1985 NONSUCH 30 ULTRA. This is a very highend limited production sailboat built by Hinterholler Yachts, Ontario, Canada and designed by Mark Ellis. While there may be other NONSUCH 30's for sale on the market, this boat is extremely unique for two specific reasons: 1) Most of these boats were heavily cruised or raced; "SOPHISTI-KAT" was never cruised and was never raced. She spent most of her life on her mooring and was used for light family sailing and barbeques. The pictures clearly demonstrate this. 2) The other reason that this boat is unique is because it was purchased and built to my father's specifications meaning it is the "ULTRA" layout, not the standard layout and was equipped for global travel even though it rarely left the mooring. This boat has the upgraded bullet proof Westerbeke engine, Here is a breakdown of the boat: Overall Dimensions LOA: 30.4 Feet Beam: 11.10 Draft: 5 Feet LWL: 28.9 Displacement: 11,500 Ballast: 4500 Bridge clearance: 53 feet Headroom: 6.3 feet. The MacGregor 26S MacGregor 26 Swing Keel Sailboat 1994 with Trailer in Excellent Condition ready to Sail! This is a 1994 MacGregor 26S Sailboat with trailer and 8 hp outboard motor in excellent condition. It accepts a 2 inch ball mount trailer hitch. The total trailer weight is about 2000 lbs, so pretty much any V-6 vehicle can tow this without any extra equipment. Any Minivan for example will work fine. It includes everything needed to sail. Three sails including a main, a roller furling Genoa and a drifter / spinnaker are included . This sailboat is wheel steered with binnacle mounted motor remote controls and instruments. Everything is in excellent condition and the trailer tires are brand new Goodyear Marathon trailer tires. It also has an extra motor mount for a trolling motor or small outboard secondary engine. This boat has many upgrades including wheel steering and a Rudder Craft Mac 26S HDPE High Performance Replacement Rudder as well as the stock rudder as a spare, a MMSD pump out porta toilet, a CDI roller furling Genoa and a main sail cover as well as life lines and bow and stern pulpits, a swim ladder, a solar panel and an Autohelm ST 30 Bidata to name a few. The 8 HP Tohatsu (Nissan) outboard model M8B also has electric start and an alternator. The MacGregor 26S, 1990 to 1995, replaced the dagger board with a swing centerboard (which kicks up in an accidental grounding) and made other smaller changes. Together, the 26D and 26S are often called the "classic" MacGregor 26, and sometimes the 26C. Owners of these earlier models tend to refer to them as "the real sailboats" prior to the changes coming with the MacGregor 26X. The V-berth can handle 2 people/kids and has storage underneath, the settee can accommodate another person and plenty more storage under there, in the cabin galley /kitchen area is a sink and a mirrored bulkhead with plenty of storage under the sink. Behind the ladder going into the cockpit is a queen sized, super comfortable bed which is also located right below the cockpit. This boat has a POP-UP roof over the galley area that rotates up and out of the way while boat is at anchor / berth which gives unlimited head room in the cabin. This vessel includes all tools and supplies needed for maintenance and use like a nice Windex for mast top mounting. a manual bilge pump, an anchor with rode, a new gallon of bottom paint, a new fuel tank with hose, a remote controlled stereo, cockpit cushions, a wind scoop etc. I am the third owner of this nice Mac and all paperwork including the Wisconsin Title and the original purchase contract when new are included as well as a IL trailer title from the previous owner. (Note, a few pictures are from the previous owner in IL and we do not have trailer titles in WI.) At the time it was the only sailboat that met my budgetary needs, had room enough for my family of three to cruise for up to a week at a time, and trailered well to let us explore waters from Maine to Key West. Yes, it's a light boat, but I had a lot of sailing experience and was cautious and never had trouble in winds to 30 knots - and I didn't try anything foolish like taking it offshore. Yes, the fiberglass was thin, but I avoided running into rocks. I took my 3-year-old out on solo daysails and have no regrets. I sold it to a family of four, their first boat, and heard from them a few years later that they'd thoroughly enjoyed tons of sailing. Thousands of other MacGregor owners have had similar experiences."
