This beautiful CATALINA CAPRI 22 foot sailboat is located at a marina in Titusville, Florida. It is sail ready and comes with a 2005 Mercury 4 Hp, 4 Stroke Outboard engine with only 9 hours on the motor. The motor was last started 2 months ago. This vessel sleeps 6 people and has racing rigging. It comes with a mast, boom, spinnaker pole with a brand new "hank on" jib and storm jib. Further sails include Capri 22 Genoa and Capri 22 Main sail along with a spinnaker sail with pole, all in excellent condition. However, the roller furler at the bow is not operating properly at this time and appears to be jammed or stuck, but is presently installed on the boat. There is a small crack on one of the side cabin windows but no leakage. The rudder has some wear on the bottom but is fully functional. Railing and stanchions are all solid.The boat comes with a fixed keel with a 4 ft. draft. The forward hatch has never been opened by me for water tight, containment purposes, so I am not sure how functional it is. There are no soft spots or leaks on the boat and the hull is in excellent shape with no bottom painting needed at this time. There is also an EZ Mast Erection System to raise the mast, numerous lines, brand new porta - potti, anchor, life jackets, 50 amp Minn Kota Electric Trolling Motor(not working-needs repair). A flush mounted outside compass was removed by the previous owner. The boat also comes with an outboard support raising platform for the 4 HP engine, which works when the engine is in the water, but has trouble in raising the engine out of the water and has some wear on it. However a smaller, lighter engine(2 to 3 HP) seems to work just fine and raises and lowers this lighter engine into the water with ease. A swimming ladder is also attached to the stern of the boat. Overall the boat is in good to excellent condition and is presently in the water with no trailer available. One forward cleat is loose but is still functional. Please keep in mind that my sailing experience is limited and although I have sailed the boat with the jib, I have not raised or sailed the vessel with either the Genoa, Main or Spinnaker sails because of time constraints, but with my limited knowledge all sails appear to be in "excellent condition". The boat presently needs a good cleaning on the interior of the cabin. The entire boat is being sold in "as is" and "where is condition" to include the outboard motor with no guarantee or warranty to be implied. Also included are manuals for the boat and engine. This is a SUPER BARGAIN for the sailing enthusiast! The deposit must be paid thru Paypal with the balance of the purchase price to be paid by cash within one week of purchase and the boat to be picked up within one week of the purchase date. This auction for a fiberglass Blue Jay Daysailer complete with trailer, all rigging and three sails. The trailer shown is included in the sale. Please read the add and view the pictures carefully. We have included 68 large pictures below the add to show you as much detail as possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of condition is based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located in Old Saybrook Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment. The boat looks to be complete with rudder keel , mast and rigging. The sails included look to be in good condition and consist of a main, jib and spinnaker. We are unsure of the exact year of the boat but it is possible to use the hull number to research. The hull number is 5340 and all sails match the number.The gel-coat looks all original on the interior but the exterior was poorly brush painted some time ago. Overall this boat looks ready to sail. Please view all the large pictures below this ad to examine all details. The trailer is older and in solid condition. The springs and axle are solid but the lights may need repair/replacement. We towed it about 40 miles with no problems. We have only a bill of sale for the trailer as well as the boat from our company the boat and trailer. Excellent Condition: 1999 Catalina Capri, fiberglass, tall mast, wing keel, 6 hp Nissan (rebuilt 2011). Trailrite trailer, racing package, mast raising and lowering device, spinnaker pole, whisker pole, adjustable backstay and boom vang. 3 Sail inventory includes: Sails in either perfect, excellent or good condition 1) main sail; 2) asymmetrical and symmetrical spinnakers; 3)100% jib and a 130% genoa. Additional items: life vest(s), tools, ropes, and4 boat dock bumpers. Fiberglass hull recent painted with 3 coats on the hull -blue antifouling paint. Painted and maintained since purchased. I am the 3rd owner. I personally know the last owner who maintain and stored every winter. Always remove from fresh water lakes every winter. No accidents. Main sail is in good condition.

For sale is Blue Jay #5195. Built in 1970, it is fiberglass with interior wood accents. Includes original trailer that is titled and licensed in Indiana. Boat sails great (just sailed on 10/4/14), and I always get compliments on its classic looks and colorful sails. Mainsil and Jib are much newer and are in excellent shape; also includes a spinnaker (probably original) and is rigged as such. Trailer has new LED wiring, new galvanized wheels (includes 2 other wheels with good tires). Boat has new trailerable cover, foam mast and boom supports for storage, rudder has been glassed and has a couple new coats of spar varnish, interior wood was sanded and refinished this summer, includes various things like life jackets, cushion, trapeze, bumpers, etc.. Boat has typical scratches and imperfections as is typical of a boat this age, but is in overall good sailable shape. Hate to sell it, but I'm moving across country and doesn't make sense to bring it with me. Located in Indianapolis, IN, I can help with delivery if gas is paid and for a reasonable distance. This 1978 C 30 Catalina was made for light ocean cruising, not just bay sailing, but probably not trans- oceanic sailing. The interior is in remarkably good condition with no midew,mold, oil stains etc. Has an alcohol stove top (needs new gaskets) and ice box ,sleeps six in three different areas.Almost new Harstick sails included main ,half jib, 360 full jib and spinnaker with pole.Large anchor with 20' heavy chain.Teak interior trim, head with shower,storage closet and pennisula galley,good head room.Boat comes with solid steel cradle good enough to ship on.Currently at anchor on Keuka Lake, the boat is kept in Hammondsport over winter at a cost of $450( this includes out and in haul and storage of the cradle through the sailing season). Marina has the capability to transport this boat, nearby Seneca lake has access to the Barge canal and therefore the Great Lakes and the Atlantic (drive train would need repair for the canal as no sailing allowed).The inboard as is is fine for leaving and returning to anchorage.(30-45 minutes at a time).Boat has the tall rig, a tiller and deep keel,sails upwind great ,These boats are one of the best and have outsold all other boats this size combined!
