The Sportcraft is being sold in an estate sale. It has been used as a fishing vessel on the Gulf of Mexico. The hull and decks show signs of use from fishing. The boat needs a good cleaning inside and out. The teak is ready for stain or oil wax to bring it back. With cleaning and updated upholstery added to the cabin, this boat will be a great family or fishing boat for years to come. The boat has not been in the water for about 13 years. Teak step treads are on both sides of the gunnels for boarding as well. The Evinrude 25 HP kicker motor comes with the boat sale. The cabin has a V-berth forward and a second berth toward the back. This a great boat that needs some TLC! The cover blew off over the winter , so there is some cleaning that needs done! The floor is solid as a rock! Tramsom and stringers are good! Cabin cushions are in good condition also! Cockpit seats are in good condition . The seat you see on the front of the trailer is one of the seats for the cockpit, they are both in very good condition! Alpha One Outdrive, 305 V-8 ( needs replaced due to cracked block), has pump out head, sink and V birth! Heavy duty tandem axle roller trailer with all new bearings and new tires, takes 2 5/16" ball, surge brakes do not work ( I preffer to replace them with electric brakes), trailer will haul a 30' boat! For sale is a great vintage wood runabout boat that is ready for the water. We have owned this boat for three years now and use it whenever possible on the Mississippi River. We just took it to Florida for a vintage boat show on Lake Dora and had a great time cruising the Harris Chain of lakes and the famous Dora Cannel, we even trailered it to Deland Florida for a fun day on the St. Johns River. This boat is in great shape and was restored some time back but I had to replace the transom with the correct wood, adhesives and sealants and now is strong as ever. The motor is a 1979 Mercury 90 HP according to the serial number with tilt and trim and runs good but could use some carb work cause it is a little cold blooded at start up. I have made new seat cushions and custom fitted a travel cover for it. The Bimini top came from another boat and works but does not snap on the best around the windshield. Up for sale is my 1982 Sportcraft 16' center console fishing boat with galvanized trailer. First I will tell you what it needs. The trim is not working but has most of the parts there. I pick the motor up manually from inside the boat when out fishing relatively easy so I have not been in a hurry to fix it. The lower unit case had a crack around the prop area and was professionally repaired approx 2 years ago and have never had a problem since. There are multiple spider cracks all over but nothing structual just in the gelcoat ,,its not a pretty boat but the floors and transom are rock solid. now the good I have changed the fuel sending unit, new bimini top,new fish finder,new impeller in water pump,new gear oil recently,new plugs,all carbs cleaned,2 new tires,new trailer light,new uprights,new winch strap,new upholstrey on from seat,new anchor line,new terminal block under dash. There is some wood in the console shelf that could use replacing. Bilge pump works good,it comes with a good deep cycle battery you will need a new starting battery.it will start with the trolling battery however.Also included is a Riptide saltwater series trolling motor works perfect. This boat is turn key ready to fish I've had it 10 miles offshore in Crystal river with no problems. Mechanically its sound cosmetically it fair but overall a great boat for the price. The trailer has 2 new tires and good bearings. runners are in good condition. I just installed new lights and new galvanized upright guides with new pvc poles. Boat fires right up and purrs like a kitten come take a look. Located in crystal River FL 34428. Google Sportcraft boats they are well built boats.
