The currently owner purchased the Intercat in 2019 and has used it on the Gulf Coast since that time. The bottom was scraped and painted and the SeaDek added in 2022. The bimini and dodger and Raymarine unit are recent additions. The autopilot was added in 2024. Some of the old gauges don't function but are redundant to the Raymarine MFD. The mainsail is older but in good working condition. The companionway hatch was dry and tight. The bilges were dry, and overall, the cabin was dry. Some drips were noted from the hatch above the galley and the shower. The AC/ heating system is not functioning. Stock #393877 This vessel was SOLD on May 28. Nothing sails like a Catamaran! This Intercat 1500 is 28' of fast-cruising vessel and it is available for sale in North Florida! The Intercat is an experienced sailer spending most of its like sailing the Chesapeake region. The boat overall is in nice condition. The gel coat was clean, hull sides are shiny. The boat gets detailed regularly. The cushion look nice with minimal wear and tear. The boat shows well for the most part, although the gel coat would benefit from a polish. As the photos show the aft sun pad needs upholstery replacement, the balance of the upholstery is nice. He purchased it from an estate sale of a local sailor who passed after an illness. The family did not have any records or real working knowledge of the vessel. The seller has obtained an owner's manual for this vessel and has it in the desk area of the cabin (just under the VHF radio) as shown in the photos. The local representative took all the photos and video of the listing and they accurately reflect the current condition of the listing and its primary features. The boat was very presentable. The exterior was clean, the gel looked to be in very good condition. No excessive scrapes, gouges or chips were noticed. The full enclosure looks great, the plastic is very clear. The cockpit was clean, the cushions looked great. The engine hatch deck felt soft, and the hatch does not open on its own (perhaps a bad lift actuator). The helm looked great as it stays covered. The gauges were clear, switches were readable, controls looked nice, wood bezels were nice and the steering wheel looked great. The cabin smelled musty and had some mildew. A good cleaning will be required to smell fresh. The cushions looked nice with no signs of damage. The cabinets looked nice with no signs of damage. The mid-berth headliner panel needs to be secured and there is no headliner panel in the upper headroom area. The wood steps, floor panel and table looked nice with minimal signs of wear. The forward cabin was clean, with no signs of excessive wear and tear. Mildew and musty smells were present. The bow cushions were on the bed and they looked very nice. The engine hatch has to be lifted with assistance. The engines look to be in functional condition. There is some expected light corrosion, which is normal for the year. The bilge was clean with no oily fluids on top. No fluid leaks were seen from the engines. The wiring and systems looked to be in good condition with no excessive corrosion. The generator had some corrosion and missing paint. The generator is not working (the seller was told it needs a relay board). The seller discloses the bow thruster is not in working order. There are two booster cushions for the captain to easily see over the windshield. The foredeck has three hatches for airflow. There are two large sun pad cushions for the bow to relax on or enjoy the view. The cabin is comfortable and nicely styled. There are classy wooden steps with matching floor panels and a matching wooden table. The blue cushions are appealing and provide plenty of seating or sleeping space in the spacious mid berth. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, sink, stovetop and hidden microwave. The head is ample sized and has a shower. The forward cabin has a raised bed with access on either side. There is plenty of storage in the built-in cabinets and closets. There is a TV for entertainment. With these great features this is a great value for the price.
