For Sale 2003 StarCraft Nexstar 1810 Open Bow 4.3 220hp V6. The boat is the nicest cleanest boat you will find for the price hand down, even comes with 1 year engine warranty. The boat is a 1-owner from Iowa. The boat has never in its life spent a night outside or was never used without having a full detail after every use and it shows. The boat looks cleaner that a 2013 boat. If you are a serious buyer and make the trip to see it you will going home with it. I purchased the boat this past fall from the original owner who did not get it winterized in time and the cold weather cracked the engine block. I removed the complete engine and brought it to Mike at Watkins engines, he than got a new block and completely rebuilt the engine to factory specs. All engines he does carry a 1 year full engine warranty. if you compare this boat to others of the same size you will not believe the quality of the seating and features that this boat goes above and beyond with. Like the comfort of the bucket seating and the deep hull. The boat also comes with the factory storage cover, a snap on bow cover and the factory Bimini top. The boat does not have a hour gauge on it but from the looks it is extremely low. The trailer is in like new condition also. The boat needs nothing it is water ready. Selling our 2000 Starcraft 150 SC 15' aluminum fishing boat. This boat has been extremely well cared for and is stored indoors year round. Motor has been completely winterized at the end of each season. Motor was also professionally serviced/tuned by Griffith's Wawasee Marina late 2013. The full package weight is small enough that my 4-cylinder, manual-transmission Ford Ranger pulled it without any problems, including on the lake ramps. The carpet on the back, sides, and front floors is worn, but is in overall good shape.The trolling motor head has a small ding on the side, but is otherwise like-newThe bilge pump recently stopped working. I'm not sure if it's a wiring issue or the pump itself simply wore out. Hull: 1974 Dual Rivet 18 ft Starcraft rated for 8 persons total weight 900lb dressed The hull spent its life as a lake boat in Southern Maine with a total of 480 hours use. The only part of the original boat is the Aluminum Hull which was stripped bare inside and out, cleaned, acid washed and sealed with 3M Marine Urethane on all joints and seams. It was then etch primed and painted with Sherwin Williams 2 part polyurethane paint. Pearl Blue / Windsor White Interior: Floor Material Lloyd's registered 13 ply Marine Grade, covered with 2 layers of woven rovings glass both sides attached with stainless rivets to original Aluminum stringers and joint strips Floor cavity closed cell foam filled, with drainage tube from anchor well to bilge pump the length of the keel .Transom: Two layers Lloyds register 3/4 marine ply saturated in resin , with two layers chopped strand sanwich. All through holes oversize with urethane fill. No wicking of bolts and no rot in the future.Outboard Well: One Piece hand layed glass over 2 x 2 Aluminum frames across transom. Mimimum waste space maximum seal with urethane and fasteners. 2" minimum clearance from motor at full travel in every direction. Self draining through transom sealed with urethane. The engine has been inspected top to bottom and has new rings bearings starter stator water pump Oil tank and pump, and although having 100 hours total time , BRP advised that because of the age of the engine they would have to list the unit as 200hrs to supply the new ECM computer. The motor is registered with BRP as having 200 hrs as of now with the computer supplied under warranty. The computer is set for a 10 hr run in with extra oil supplied for that period. This work was done by the BRP dealer including a full inspection. This unit uses around half the fuel of the old V4 and with the 28 gal tank pushing a total weight of 1300 lbs plus fuel and passengers will give a great range without having to worry about fuel too often. Trailer (used) Karavan Fully welded Hot Dip Galvanized frame, New 4” drop braked axle 15” 6 stud wheels with neck mounted spare. Classic 1965 Starcraft 16' vintage boat - seaworthy! Mercruiser stern drive with Glastron I/O 998. Tandem axle trailer is included. This was owned by my father and well cared for. The boat and trailer are in good condition for their age. It was not used all that much and was garaged much of its life. All it needs a little cleaning and TLC. It hasn't been run for a few years but engine does turn over, will need a new battery. Trailer and tires are in good shape. Does have minor scratches on hull, windshield is in good shape. Seats were recovered and were removed and stored in house. Have the frame for the Bimini top. Cables for steering work. Steering wheel is original. Depth sounder is original. 1971 Slickcraft SC-285 It is a 1971 Slickcraft SC-285 Hard Top. This boat was built at the Slickers plant in Holland MI. and has not left Lake Michigan her entire life. It is 28.5' in length with a 10.5' Beam and a 3' draft. The dry weight is listed at 8050 lbs. It has a sturdy and SOLID fiberglass deep V-hull; very sturdy when trolling or running and can safely handle the snotty conditions that can spring up on the lake. The twin inboard 302 (215 HP) Mercruiser engines have just over 500 hours on a rebuild with 2500 hours in total. The previous owner of 23 years was a mechanic for the Chicago Fire Department and was meticulous with maintenance.
