WHILE I STILL HAVE TOW VEHICLE, WILL BRING TO YOU (REASONABLE DISTANCE) FOR "GAS MONEY." Acquired in early 2014 from my dad's cousin. I don't have time to use it enough to justify keeping it. Original 5.0 liter engine was replaced with a 5.7 liter remanufactured Jasper engine at some point. I had to replace the coupler (joins the engine to the stern drive, had to pull stern drive and lift engine out to do this), one major repair you won't ever have to worry about. Completely cleaned carburetor, replaced plugs and oil, tuned up, and have used for almost two full seasons now. Runs like a champ. Two working depthfinders, one brand new that I just installed. A section of the keel is a bit banged up from an ill-advised "beaching" I made in 2014, but boat is perfectly seaworthy. Just finished using it in Michigan, on vacation, for a week. Water pump impeller changed at beginning of last season. Engine oil and stern drive oil changed at the beginning and end of last season and beginning of this season. New prop hub and 4-blade prop gives it a great "hole shot" even though it is a fishing boat configuration. It has blue bimini top (shown in one of the pictures) and gray camper top with side and back curtains, all in good condition, just missing a snap or two here and there. You also get the gray trailering / storage cover shown in the picture on the trailer. It is stored in Aurora, Illinois but I am willing to bring to and launch in Burnham Harbor (Chicago, right by Soldier Field) so you can take for a "spin" if you are seriously considering purchase. Will also consider selling engine and stern drive (the two together as a package, leaving me with just the hull and trailer to deal with the disposal cost of) if there is anyone interested in those, either to use or just for parts. Tons of gear (for skiing, tubing, and fishing, including a manual downrigger, a couple of electric downriggers I haven't gotten to work yet, and some custom 6-8' "salmon" rods) I will sell with the boat or separately depending on whether you want "the whole package" and we can agree on price.

For sale, 1988 Anchor Industries 17' Ski Deck. Open bow with seating capacity for 8. The engine and stern drive (original Cobra OMC) and are in great shape. We had a full tune-up and gasket replacement done in May. Starts right up and is a strong engine. Brand new Kirkland marine starting/deep cycle battery installed just this weekend. Stainless steel prop. The floor boards are solid and the carpet and seats / vinyl are also in great shape - no rips or tears and very clean for a boat this age. Under seat storage in bow. Also has Bimini top and custom snap on boat cover.Boat has current MN registration through 2016. Trailer (Shoreland'r roller) has lifetime MN registration. Trailer has new winch strap and safety chains and is in otherwise good shape. The bilge pump is going and should be replaced ($~45). We took it out this past weekend and noticed the bilge wouldnt turn on, which is something required to pump out any water that is taken in to the bilge (it's an old boat, water does slowly fill into the bilge). Also, the gas tank fuel gauge doesnt register - likely needs a new tank sending unit ($~18) and the speedometer has never worked for us. We don't use the boat often enough to have the repairs done but are listing them here so that we can be transparent to any new buyers. More pics available - email if interested. Can include standard required equipment - new marine grade fire extinguisher, wooden oar, and four new life jackets if desired.

1991 Chris Craft Crowne Chris-Craft is a legendary name in the world of power boats. The classic nameplate alone implies more than a century of evolutionary boating design. From classic woody speedsters and stately cabin cruisers to mahogany side boards, 1950s fins and snout-nosed stems, Chris-Craft has evolved through generations of radical styles and tastes. The company has set some trends and followed others, marketing to satisfy the boating masses. Chris-Craft is a survivor that has thrived through the years, and has built a reputation for reliability. Its latest line of family cruisers illustrates this. Under new OMC ownership, the company has completely retooled and restyled its fleet for 1991. The 302 Crowne just might be Chris-Craft’s hottest new boat. With an aerodynamic, molded look, wrap-around windshield and stylish, low maintenance features, this open express cruiser is a finely styled blend of gusto and comfort suited for growing families who enjoy a lot of activities on the water. On deck, the 302’s tiered integral transom is styled with a curvacious stern swim step. It is equipped with a hot and cold shower, swinging transom gate and fender sockets that double as scuba tank holders. A wrap-around sport lounge is just a few steps away, along with a table, wet bar, sink and ice box. The cockpit is framed overhead by a rakish radar arch. On the other side of the arch, the 302’s helm is sporty enough to fuel the performance fantasies of any driver. With its array of round, businesslike gauges that come with five year warranties, glossy laminate surfaces and designer-trimmed panels and sport steering wheel, the 302 also is a cruising weekend home. The helm’s companion seat and side-facing double seat provide a sociable setting in the midst of all the â go fastâ excitement. Our test boat, provided by Rudy Bankson at Seattle’s Yachts Northwest, is the first 302 Crowne delivered on the West Coast. It proved itself to be a feisty speedster. Equipped with twin 260 hp OMC Cobra 5.7 Liter stern drives, the test boat popped onto plane and quickly hit speeds of nearly 45 mph. We idled out of Lake Union through Montlake Cut and onto Lake Washington, where conditions were like a mill pond. The wake was silky smooth, almost flat, and the counter-rotating stainless steel propellers seemed to offer ample control. They kept things smooth and quiet on a ride that had us cutting turns steadily at full throttle without a slip or jog. Buyers also may opt for the next step up in power packages: twin OMC Cobra 7.4 Liter drives that pump out 330 hp. These undoubtedly would have taken our test boat over the 50 mph mark. The standard OMC Cobra twin 5.0 Liter stern drive offers a cruising speed of 30 mph, compared to our power plant that kept us at a quiet rev, cruising at 35 mph. Between the variety of engine sizes, the 150 gallon fuel capacity offers a cruising range of 182 miles with the smaller 5.0 Liter engi

Up for sale is a 21.5' 1988 Four Winns Sundowner 215 powered with a Chevy V8, 5.0L engine. Overall for the year the boat is in good condition. I've owned the boat for the last 4 years or so. This is my first boat and I absolutely cherished it. It has an OMC Cobra 5.0 outdrive with probably less than 20 hours on it which was purchased new from Crowley Marine ($3800 for the drive alone). Since replacing it I've regularly checked and maintained the drive, using only OMC synthetic gear oil. It also has a brand new prop (14.5 X 19) along with 2 spare props. Additionally, I replaced the drive belts, alternator, starter solenoid, ignition coil, plugs, horn, and the bow/stern lights. It comes with two newer batteries. The oil pressure, voltage, temperature and gas gauge all work although I do question the complete accuracy of the gas gauge. The trim/tilt gauge doesn't work but it's not something I really ever had a need for. It also has a good working CB radio, an AM/FM/CD player, a Garmin GPS/Fishfinder, built in cooler, bumpers, ropes, life vests, tow line and tube. It has a cockpit canvas cover that has a lot of wear. It can be used but I wouldn't recommend as my primary. I also have a complete camper top that came with it. The pop up bimini cover is in really good condition. The interior is all original from what I know. There are no major tears in any of the seat cushions - there is a small cut on one side panel that can be sealed off very easily. The carpet is worn but nothing that's so bad I thought to replace. I also re-wrapped the cushions in the cabin and have a porta potty that fits under the removable cushions. All of the teak throughout the cabin and swim platform is in really good condition - I usually give it a really light sand or scrub and apply some teak oil and it shines up nicely. The EZ load trailer is a 1987. It gets the job done but could definitely use some maintenance. The brake lines are not connected and I would recommend having the U bolts on the leaf springs checked if you plan on towing on long trips. The things I would note on the boat that I know of are as follows: there is a slight cut in the line that feeds the trim tilt fluid to the outdrive. I never replaced the line because I found that some good tape at the beginning of the season and a fluid top off here and there was enough to get by for a season. The trim tilt works fine otherwise but something you'll want to monitor or replace if you choose. While this is definitely an older boat, for someone looking for their first boat or a mid-sized boat to drive around the river, lake or even the LI sound, you really can't go wrong with this boat. It's a solid boat with a deep v-hull that gets through chop easily. We've had 6 people on the boat many times and have driven from Portland to Essex with ease. It easily cruises at 3000-3500 RPMs and does about 30-35 knots. Boat and trailer are both registered and trailer title is in hand. For those wondering about towing, I'd estimate it to weigh approximately 4000 lbs. If necessary, I can deliver within reason (20-30 miles). Here's a video from this past weekend - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkVTPPXzKEg&feature=em-upload_owner. Feel free to write or call with questions - 860-209-7978
