What makes us so much better than the other guys? Our proven sealed double hull construction and I-Beam stringer system begins in our climate controlled foam injection area. Using computer controlled process management for consistency, the I-Beam Stingers and transom cores are reacted in high pressure steel cavity molds. Next, the stringers and transom cores are removed from the molds and vigorously inspected before placement in our boats. Other builders cut a corner here by simply injecting foam into hidden cavities making inspection of the final product impossible. No other boat company in the world uses as many sophisticated steel molds as we do. We build every one of our boat molds in-house from a wood master pattern. These molds are then coated with a copolymer release agent. We built the finest high flow paint booths and utilize the latest designs in flow-coater technology to achieve a superior gel coat finish in all Sundance Boats. After the gel coat and a skin coat of fiberglass are applied, and the strakes are filled with fiberglass putty, the high density urethane foam transom core is glassed in place. Our transom core is the strongest and most durable on the market today. Then we hand lay woven roving in the hull and begin laminating the foam I -Beam stringers. More layers of woven roving go on top of the foam preforms to make a solid integrated sandwich that is incredibly strong and virtually unsinkable. The hull is made entirely of fiberglass and structural foams – there is no wood in the hull structure to rot. After the hulls and decks are pulled from the molds, these parts are joined together with associated hardware in our final assembly department. 2016 Sundance DX22 The DX Series is our premier line of skiffs. Based on the venerable B Hull with the SRV bow, the DX Boats have fully molded inner liners with non-skid surfaces. We responded to your request for additional features in a more refined package. The rear deck has large high backed folding jump seats with thick cushions for comfortable and safe seating for your passengers. The seats fold flush for an obstruction free casting deck. The standard XL Front Deck is fully glassed and integrated into the hull with a commercial finish that matches the interior. The upgrade Yacht Finish Front Deck has a slick finished diamond non-skid surface and has 2 jump seats along the sides of the boats with flip cushions and extra storage. Front Decks have extra large hatches. The stern and bow light poles are stored in clips under the front deck. The long rear deck has a 14 gal aerated live well with a high speed pick up. The helm seat is a 76 Qt. insulated cooler with a seat cushion and a swing-back back rest. An excellent option is to mount a 72 Qt. igloo cooler and cushion in front of the CC console. We recommend the XL Deck on the B18 and the Yacht Deck with Jump Seats on the B20 and B22.

Our 10 acre campus is home to a 90,000 square production plant which is one of the most modern, efficient, and environmentally compliant boat building facilities in the United States. What makes us so much better than the other guys? Our proven sealed double hull construction and I-Beam stringer system begins in our climate controlled foam injection area. Using computer controlled process management for consistency, the I-Beam Stingers and transom cores are reacted in high pressure steel cavity molds. Next, the stringers and transom cores are removed from the molds and vigorously inspected before placement in our boats. Other builders cut a corner here by simply injecting foam into hidden cavities making inspection of the final product impossible. No other boat company in the world uses as many sophisticated steel molds as we do. We build every one of our boat molds in-house from a wood master pattern. These molds are then coated with a copolymer release agent. We built the finest high flow paint booths and utilize the latest designs in flow-coater technology to achieve a superior gel coat finish in all Sundance Boats. After the gel coat and a skin coat of fiberglass are applied, and the strakes are filled with fiberglass putty, the high density urethane foam transom core is glassed in place. Our transom core is the strongest and most durable on the market today. Then we hand lay woven roving in the hull and begin laminating the foam I -Beam stringers. More layers of woven roving go on top of the foam preforms to make a solid integrated sandwich that is incredibly strong and virtually unsinkable. The hull is made entirely of fiberglass and structural foams – there is no wood in the hull structure to rot. After the hulls and decks are pulled from the molds, these parts are joined together with associated hardware in our final assembly department.
