I have a 1995 Sylvan 17 Pro Select up for grabs. This is one of the best all around fishing / skiing / family fun boats you can get for the money. Since it is aluminum hull, it doesn't weigh much, and you can pull it easily with a V6. Also, I had a fold-away mount professionally installed on the tongue, so you can easily store it in your garage. Trailer lights work. Where to start.... I'll try to describe the boat as best as I can: *The boat is in excellent condition, especially for a 1995. No major scratches, no dents, no carpet damage, only minor scuffs on outside edges of prop. Not even major scratches on bottom of hull. *I bought the boat 3 years ago and it's been in the water 6 times. That's why I'm selling. Previous owner was an older guy who used it for fishing. *Not only does this boat have an 88 main engine, but it also has a 8 size engine as well. They both run great, and you'll NEVER get stranded on the lake! The small engine starts right up with a few pulls. *I spent $431 on a new bimini top. It works well and provides ample shade. While everyone else is cooking in the sun, you get to sit in the shade. It stays put when you're going 35mph too. *The trailer has two new tires on it and pulls well. It also has a new pull / crank strap, an extra safety cable, and two new rear tie downs. *The boat comes with two batteries so you'll never run out of battery on the lake. One is from 2009, the other I bought new in 2012. They both hold a charge well and are kept on a battery maintainer in the winter time. *Live well in front of boat works. *Electric trolling motor works, but I rarely use it. *Stereo works great with two speakers. *The engine has three places to adjust trim, on the throttle handle, on the engine, and in the front of the boat. They all work. *Ample space in back of boat for life jackets, more storage space in floor, and enclosed, lockable, space for rods on both sides of boat. Front of boat has more space for anchor, ropes, etc. *Boat comes with 3 original seats. The seats are ok with no rips or tears, but the backs are a little flimsy. *It has a bilge pump controlled by a switch, and another bilge pump controlled by a float. The boat does NOT leak water! But if it did, the auto bilge kicks in and pumps it out. *Comes with fish finder with speedo. Not sure what else I can say about the boat. Everything works, even the speedometer and gas gauge! Title is clear and ready to sign over.
