According to the seller, all mechanical and operational systems function as intended. The interior is clean and well cared for. The upholstery is in very good condition with no holes, tears, or cuts noticed. The upholstery fabric showed some "abrasion" on the left top of the front passenger seat. The hull appears to be in really good shape for a 37-year-old boat with no observed chips, scratches, or gouges. This is a really nice one for its age!! A real "Corvette" on the water. Stock #368872 7.4 BRAVO ROLLERCAM VORTEC MARINE ENGINE!! CLOSED LOOP COOLING!! ALUMINUM EMI THUNDER EXHAUSTND RISERS!! This beautiful piece of history is available for sale! Own a piece of nostalgia that can outperform newer boats and will be a "head turner" wherever you go. This baby was repowered with a1997 7.4L Vortec Gen 6 and Bravo One outdrive that came out of a freshwater Wellcraft Scarab in Tennessee. It's said that the engine/outdrive only had 232 hours when it was purchased and put into this Donzi. The engine has a closed-loop cooling system that includes the block, heads, and manifolds. It includes a newer Edelbrock marine carb and EMI Thunder manifolds and risers, and the through-hull exhausts have this boat sounding and running as good as it looks! Donzi, early on, was known for high-quality great-looking vessels that are in high demand even to this day! Hand-laid fiberglass hulls using no chop look great even after 37 years! I am selling this for a friend that acquired it through an automotive transaction. He knows nothing about boat nor wants to learn and has asked me to help him get his money out of it. I will preface this by settling some questions I've been hit with. 1. Trades really are not desired unless a car or truck of equal value/equally as great a deal as my "buy it now". 2. This is absolutely not a distress sale. The number makes this the best big power, updated, need nothing Formula on the market at the BEST price by far. 3. No he is not interested in parting it out. I was offered $12500 for the drives, gimbals and complete engines and does not have interest due mostly to time and space limitations. Now about this awesome Formula: Motors were built by A-Z marine in NJ. As the previous owner stated, at no expense spared. He had dyno sheets but don't ask because they've been lost in the shuffle. As he states; the one motor dyno'd 547 Hp and the other 542. At the time of build it received new intake manifolds, new water pumps, stainless marine exhaust (still utilizing Formulas beautiful silent thunder exhaust/swim platform), rebuilt starters, Holley carbs worked by Nickersen, all rubber new, all cables, new altenators... I ran the boat last week and it is super strong and 70 mph was effortless. It definitely had more but it was a miserable day and I was just making a quick run. The motors currently have less than 75 hours. The drives were also gone through at the time of engine build and the gimbals were new Hp assemblies. They also have drive showers. Hull is absolutely beautiful. From the deck down it was re gel coated. The graphics are vinyl and can be easily removed. The topsides of the boat were done in the original Palm Beach colors and flawlessy prepped and sprayed with Imron. All lettering and Formul;a badges were new, new hatch actuators, new hatch mirrors, new cp cover, new GPS speedo, Livorsi gauges, mascerator pump. The trailer is a really nice ACE dual axle 2006. The cabin is original and clean. Way less than normal wear, no odors, tears.... The cocpit is as you see it with the original Mcleod bolsters and is as nice if not nicer than the pictures. This boat truly is a No dissappointment boat. Personally if I didn't own and so deep into my current project I would love to own it. $1000 paypal deposit requested at time of sale. I will consider delivery with in a 75 miles at no charge or possibly up to 300 for a fee. The boat is currently in Bucks County Pa but can easily come to southern New Jersey. I've probably missed a lot but please feel free to text me with any concerns. This boat was a Bank Repo. The previous owner took the motor and drive, then let the boat go back to the bank. It was never abused or mistreated like most Repo's... Whoever took the motor and drive had full intentions of buying the boat back. (My theory) I have had plenty of these and this one is different. The guy plugged the gas hose and clamped it. Left all the clamps for the exhaust. Unplugged, unbolted, then zip tied the wires up nicely out of the way. Left the drive and tab pumps in place. He Left the bolts and brackets for the steering, shifter, throttle, engine hatch, etc... This boat is all there except motor and drive. The seats are super clean, engine compartment is Nice, Cabin carpet and seats look new, open bow carpet and seats look new, and the gel coat is BAD ASS!! It does have Mercury K planes, HP Gimble, Rockford Fosgate Stereo,Single Hydraulic Steering, and drop out bolster seats. The batteries were there, hooked up, and even half charged. Everything is there except the Motor and Drive. There is a bag full of manuals that includes the gps, etc... The pics have some condensation on the gauges that IS NOT there now. Boat comes with several NEW life vests, several ropes, and 10" bouys. I do have an XR Drive for the boat for $3500.
