The conversion from I/O to outboards appears to have been done well. However, the port engine does not run and will need to be replaced or rebuilt. The hull appears to be in nice shape with no signs of damage. Like the majority of boats this age, the vessel could use a detailing and updates. The trailer has been recently upgraded. Both axles were replaced, the winch was upgraded to electric and is 10K lb rated, and the hubs for all tires were replaced. 2003 Tiara Open/ express, Absolutely flawless vessel with NO signs of wear. This owner goes to great lengths to keep this boat running and looking New. The Cherry interior is immaculate and every system and component works to spec. 8.1 Crusaders are in perfect working order, and just received a tune up (to keep them that way). 6 New underwater lights, all New electronics, and fresh water water pumps. Owner has little time to use the boat and can't bear to let it sit. Simrad broadband radar. Garmin combination GPS/ fish finder with thru hull side view. Lee jr. Outriggers with poles. (All new this year) Owner though he might like to do more fishing, but could never find the time or mates. This vessel and engine room are a buyers dream. 1983 Tiara 27 Express, This 1983 Express was rebuilt in 2004. The inboards were removed and replaced with new 225HP Suzuki outboards on a bracket, 2004 with appx 500 hrs on them. With the motors mounted on a bracket it rides like a 31' boat. The boat runs great, fast and efficient. Some us the features and upgrades are, large storage area where the inboards were. This was used to store the dingy, Imron paint 2013, AC, Shore power, charger, led lights, head, new cushions and seats, 2 storage seats that fit the width of the cockpit at the stern, windless, trim tabs, wipers. electronics, the fuel and fresh water tanks were removed, flushed and ceramic coated, hot water, fresh and salt water wash down and a 12,500 lb alum. trailer.
