The 100 hour service was just completed. The boat was cleaned and motor flushed with “Salts Gone” after every use. This boat is a triple threat style boat: it floats very skinny, handles chop well, and is decently fast. These boats were designed as flats style boats and designed to go into the back lakes to chase redfish. Tiburon claims that if there is water, this boat will run in it. I have personally taken this boat through roughly 2-3” of water with a sandy bottom and never even bumped the bottom. Thanks to the wide beam, this boat is EXTREMELY stable on the water, 4 men (230+ lbs each) can stand on the same gunnel and the boat will barely cant to the side.

The custom designed graphic wrap is beautiful and appears to be in good condition. The engine cowling is wrapped to match the hull. On the bow is a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor which the seller says works great!. The left racing style chair needs tidying up at the headrest. A bit of repositioning of the vinyl there should do the trick. The seller reports the 10' power pole operates well. Stock #394251 This skinny-water boat with patented shallow-draft design takes you where the fish are! This Tiburon ZX-25 is the personal boat of the designer and patent holder for this amazing really-skinny water fishing boat. Yep, she belongs to the boss! With a draft of just 6", in combination with the E-TEC 250 HP engine mounted on the 10" Bob's Machine jack plate, the amazing boat can rest in just 6" of water. Once she gets on plane, she'll skim as little as 3" of water. This ability is due in part to the Variable Lift System (VLS) designed to draw water under the boat for stability and functional performance in super shallow water. In essence, the running surface directs waterflow up to the propeller without inducing additional drag. This means you can maneuver this boat to waters where the fish are all by yourself because what other boats can do the same? The 8' 6" beam allows for a wide walkway down both sides of the console riser enabling a fisherman to walk the fish around the boat without obstruction. She is stable enough to walk bow to stern when fighting a large fish. Under the port and starboard gunnels are spacious horizontal storage compartments with locks. Seating is extremely comfortable due to the overstuffed racing-style bolster seats. They not only look great, but are comfortable and give a secure feel even at high running speeds. The stern has 5 hatches with hydraulic struts. Here you'll find a 28 gallon recirculating release well, an 18 gallon live well, plenty of storage, and easy access to pumps and other systems. In front where the elevated casting deck is you'll appreciate three molded fiberglass hatches, one for an anchor locker, and two dry storage areas. These quality hatches have compression latches and are held open by helpful gas-assist struts. At the center console is a practical stand-upon deck with a folding support arm enabling one to stand well above the water for greater visibility and help when spotting for fish. The forward face of the center console features a large door for accessing systems such as wiring, switches, and has extra room for stowing other items. Reason for selling is upgrading.

Her previous owners purchased her in San Fransisco and headed west with lots of adventures before arriving here on the Outer Banks. I was truly pleased to have acquired her. She was in need of significant work, so I rolled up my sleeves and started, as time would allow, as I work fulltime, out of the area. And then Sandy came along. The results were that Saracen's engine and foresail needed replacing. As much as I would really like to keep her, as a single individual, who doesn't really know how long my employment will last, I really need to be wiser. I have the insurance company's appraisal of $45,825, in below average condition. ' Sistership' is considered a Cabo Rico 38'. I'm asking $17,000 I will be happy for anyone serious to see the appraisal. She is currently 'on the hard,' facilitating hull inspection. Yard paid thru 2/28/15.
