For sale is a 1985 Gloucester 16 daysailer "Pocket Yacht". This boat is ready to sail today. I have owned this boat for 2 years and have made repairs on both the boat and the trailer and both are in good condition. The boat is only in need of cosmetic repairs. It needs some fiberglass repairs on the starboard, aft side (see photos) thought it is still seaworthy as is. It could also use new grab rails on the cabin as the wood is drying out on the existing ones. I had plans to make these upgrades but have too many other projects and interests. Somebody else should be enjoying this boat! The boat uses a 200 lb. swing keel that lowers with a winch in the cockpit. The winch is rebuilt and works well. All lines and sheets are new. Sails are original and still have life left in them. Small Evinrude motor with a rebuilt carburetor that fired up fine the last time I took it to the lake. This motor is only meant to motor to and from the dock but is too small for speed. The trailer has been completely re-wired and has new running lights as well. This boat and trailer weigh about 1300 lbs combined and can be pulled with an SUV or minivan. This is a stable little boat and a pleasure to cruise.

This Speedliner is in incredible condition; it is under a custom boat cover, a generic boat cover and inside a building. It's been stored like this its entire life. Original owner is an auto mechanic and has kept it in excellent condition. This boat belongs in a museum. Stock #319337 Excellent condition, low hours, always garage kept, it belongs in a museum! This is the most incredibly well cared for boat I have ever taken in. The seller is 2nd owner, purchased from the local Speedliner dealer as their showroom boat. He purchased the boat in 1971. He has used it very little over the years but has been meticulous in its care. All mahogany construction and a fiberglass shell was added for the lower hull portion that eliminates any wood rot. The interior is incredible, not a rip or tear and in perfect condition. As blue as it was the day it was delivered, no sun fading at all. The Mercury outboard was the beginning of Mercury Racing. This was their race motor back then with 6 cylinders and 100 HP. The trailer came with the boat, all of this is original. The owner is about as honest and pleasant as they come, I could not work with a nicer gentlemen. This boat and trailer I would categorize as a "barn find," it's really incredible to see. Reason for selling is not using anymore.

Completely gone through in 2018 by a former Chris-Craft builder. Stock #176116 The Little Leon is a scale replica of the Square Sail Brigantine "Leon". She was entirely hand built from scratch. A complete one of a kind! Exact 1/8th scale of the famed square rigged Norwegian Brigantine "Leon". Only continue looking if interested in a conversation starter that will turn heads every where it's sailed and docked. A unique hand-made design which is also able to be disassembled and trailered on the included trailer. Seating for 6-8 people enjoy a fantastic sail and steady ride thanks to the onboard water ballast system. The hull sides are Australian hardwood with masts made of American Pine. MAST: Two masts made of pine wood. MAST STEP: The fore mast is stepped on the forward ballast bulkhead. The aft mast is stepped in the bilge SPREADERS: Four spreaders on the fore mast. SHROUDS AND STAYS: The forward mast has eight shrouds both port and starboard, all made of nylon rope. Five are 1/4", one is 3/16", one is 5/32", and one is 3/32". The aft mast has six shrouds on each side, all nylon rope. There are four 1/4", one 5/32", and one 3/32". The foremast also has a total of six upper shrouds. The fore stays are attached to the bowsprit. The back stay of the forward mast is attached to the aft mast. BOOMS: There is a bowsprit and a bow boom. TURNBUCKLES: There are no turnbuckles rather dead-eyes. CHAIN PLATES: The chain plates are Futtlocks. They are 1/8" bronze rods attached to the topsides then attached to the dead-eyes. MAST SUPPORTERS: Hardwood mast partner and mast step, reported as serviceable. SAILS MAINSAIL: There are four square sails on the forward mast. Three stay sails (jibs). There are gaff rigged sails on the aft mast.

Bolger pirogue, all 6mm Okume soaked in epoxy, built around 1996. Set up with spritsail from Hogen Sails in Alameda, CA, modern sail hardware. Double-thick bottom glass, sides and deck need need sanding and refinish. I got the flotation fore and aft from a guy who lived in my duplex and was contracted to rebuild the dock at the maritime academy in Vallejo, and he said it was the best. Comes with 1960's Sea King trailer with new bearings. Bolger design eight-foot mast and my ten-foot mast for better passenger head clearance (these are 2x2 fir per Bolger.) All lines and fittings included plus random extras like an REI guide paddle, fishboat anchor with line, and whatever else I can find in the garage. I have the blue-line plans I built it with, if wanted. This boat was finished bright and was never taken out without receiving compliments or expressions of awe from random yokels. I'm too old to get in and out of it, want to get it out of my declining-years driveway and have to either find someone who wants it or dump it. The price is set to pay for this announcement plus eighty dollars gravy, but a few thousand extra dollars would be appreciated. Ready to haul away on the trailer, tires might need air.
