The boat is stored under a boat shed on a lift. A full detailing would benefit as the color accent gel coat is fading and it needs a full hull polish. There is some mild delamination at the foot of the bulkhead on the cabin where the enclosed head meets the floor. and it is shown in the photo gallery. Unknown if the engine hours are accurate and it is presumed that it's the original engine. The tanks were replaced in 2017 and the engine and boat had a major service. The unsinkable legend. 1968 Boston Whaler 13 Sport. Very solid boat. Gel coat is crazed but no soft spots in floor or transom. Comes with trailer and 30hp Mariner made by Yamaha. I bought this boat a couple of years ago with plans to restore but with young kids I just can't find the time to do what I want to do with it and have decided to let it go. The boat is sea worthy as is but has 2 spots near the bow that could use repair. The spots are pictured and seem to be where it rested against a dock or something. I may also consider trades for (only) Honda motorcycles or ATVs (Recon, Fourtrax 300, XR650, FT500 Ascot, CX500, Night Hawk 450, CRF450X etc.) I may also separate the boat/engine/trailer as I wouldn't mind keeping the trailer. The command bridge is complete with a molded hardtop, electronics box, full forward facing bench seating, a comfortable helm seat plus a companion seat. There is a great console to house all of the instruments and controls and LUHRS includes extra storage as well. Visibility is excellent on all points. All of which results in one of the LUHRS company's most successful designs. For nearly 60 years the LUHRS Corporation has been designing & building boats. Their reputation has long been strong among coastal fishermen who were looking for vessels of solid value. In an attempt to influence customers who enjoyed fishing as well as the amenities of cruising boats, LUHRS introduced their Tournament series of Fly Bridge Convertibles in 1986. The 320 Convertible was added to the line in 1988 with a waterline length of 31ft 6 inches. The 320 Convertible was a break from the LUHRS tradition of bare-bones fishing boats and offered an extensive list of standard equipment. Items such as a custom aluminium tower, transom door, rod holders, fresh and seawater wash down pumps appealed to the fishermen while a fully equipped galley, a main saloon & an honest Stateroom with a comfortable Double Berth appealed to those with a cruising interest. The 320 Convertible remained in production until 1999 & used models are in high demand on the used market. Reinforcement of the hull is accomplished with fiberglass- encapsulated plywood stringers and frames attached to the hull by secondary bonds of fiberglass. Limber holes, drilled through frames and stringers to allow drainage, are sealed with gel coat. To LUHRS credit, this method of finishing exposed plywood edges is better than some that leave the wood grain exposed. Like nearly all production boat manufacturers, LUHRS makes extensive use of one-piece moulded fiberglass liners for interior and cockpit components. The benefits of moulded liners are ease of maintenance and reduced cost of construction. The deck-to-hull joint is fastened with adhesive sealant and stainless steel screws on 12-inch centres. A high-density plastic rub rail is added at the deck edge with stainless steel insert to help prevent damage from docking. Deck fittings and hardware are securely fastened with stainless steel nuts bolts & washers. There is plenty of room in the cockpit if an Owner wishes to install a game chair. Typical of Carolina-styled Sport Fisherman, the maximum beam of 320 Convertible is carried forward of amidships resulting in a very large fore deck area. The fore deck is flush and unobstructed by anything other than a single deck hatch. A welded aluminium rail that extends to just past the cabin surrounds the deck. LUHRS has provided conveniently placed handrails along the cabin for added safety. As with all boats of this style, there are necessary compromises in order to accommodate fisherman as well as cruisers. There is an insulated icebox along the port side and tackle locker and sink to starboard. There are two removable fish boxes below the cockpit deck and a walk-through transom door to port. While the Fly Bridge of any 32-footer is bound to have restricted space, the 320 Convertible can accommodate 5 people. There is a helm seat and mate's seat behind the helm console and a forward facing bench seat in front. There is plenty of space below the console and bench seat for storage of gear. This vessel has a custom welded aluminium Fly Bridge with a Moulded Hardtop & an overhead fiberglass Electronic Equipment enclosure compartment. The 320 Convertible is one of only a few boats of this style and size to offer a true Owner's Stateroom. The forward Stateroom is fully enclosed and features a centre island berth large enough for two adults. There is six feet of standing headroom and sufficient room, with the door closed, to change clothes without feeling like a contortionist. There are two good-sized hanging lockers on each side of the cabin and storage drawers below the berth. There are Rod Storage Racks overhead. Aft of the Owner's Stateroom is a head and shower to starboard and galley to port. The head is larger than most boats of this size and the shower is integral. The galley is compact & efficient with a Microwave Oven, a two hot plate counter top stove, sink and 110/12v front-loading refrigerator. The main saloon features a convertible couch to starboard and a convertible Dinette to port. Detroit Twin Marine Turbo Diesel engines are fitted as options at considerable extra cost. Due to the substantial cost, these were not popular choices and it is unusual to find a Diesel Powered 320 on the used market. The hull form is a modified "V" with a deadrise angle (the angle of the hull bottom to the water plane) of 18 degrees which is fairly typical of this type of vessel. It results in a smooth comfortable ride under all but extreme conditions. There is considerable flare to the 320's hull sides at the bow and the ride is very dry even in choppy water. Standard equipment includes hydraulic steering and the 320 responds to the Helm quickly and the boat is easily controlled. Hydraulically operated Trim Tabs control the Hull trim angle for changes in speed, sea conditions & the boat load. Designing a successful powerboat of this dual-purpose type is a delicate balance of compromises. 1987 chaparral villain IV 30' twin 454 magnum mercruiser enginesRebuilt engines and outdrives rebuilt 3 yrs ago by previous owner. cosmetic clean interior and exterior but could use a good buffing to get gelcoat back to shiny.interior cabin floor needs slight reinforcement not broken just creaky a little and the captain chair bolts on one of the legs have come outall seats and upholstery both in cabin and on deck in great shape.has Bimini top in good shape the deck over is still good but has shrunk up a bit can't get the last snap on each side to snap and the rear most flap will need a resow but over all good shape. hull and deck all in great condition especially for its age. very well preserved and taken care of no issues with Hull, Stringers or transom good solid boat. Mechanicaltwin Chevy 454 magnum mercruiser engines alpha 1 outdrivesRebuilt engines and outdrives rebuilt 3 yrs ago by previous owner. both have about 60-70 hrs on them. so there are no surprises NOTE:known issue with Port motor the port side head on the port motor. which is the easy one to get to will need to be pulled. The number 5 cylinder has low compression 100lbs other cylinders on that side are 170lbs probably head gasket bad.Starts runs, idles and revs fine, but can tell under power #5 cylinder is misfiring and getting water in cylinder. but not getting into oil so it most likely is a head gasket issue. oil pan is clean. no damage to lower end. so your talking even if head is Bad which o don't think it is but worse case a replacement on Ebay are going for 350.00 plus probably 10 or so hours for mechanic labor to replace so maybe 1500 to repair Starboard motor no known issues both motors are currently winterized for season I have had it over 60 mph with room to go.gauges could use some work most work a few are glitch or need replacement . Always dry stored never stored in water. Electronicshas a hummingbird fish finder/ depth finderCB radio 3 brand new batteries Trailer 4 new tires. the trailer is a little rough. it was salt water boar and trailer from Florida its solid but the fender need rework the wiring needs wotk but are functional the hydraulic break system doesn't work I towed it 400 miles no issues with out and it wasn't that big a deal. Now but I only tow it 50' to the water so really no big deal now. One of the axles has a bend in it it will need to be replaced I drove of 370 miles with no issues at 70 miles an hour its solid but will need replacement look on Ebay they are selling brand new axles on here delivered for 250.00 so quick easy fix for axle So all in all yo have a 60+ mph go fast boat your looking at around 1500-2000 in repairs and bam solid boat solid trailer and tons of fun sold as is no refunds Any other questions let me know anyone with zero feed back contact me before bidding or it will be canceled
