Tri-hull/deep V design, with open bow, seats 10 comfortably, great family boat. Standard engine was a 305 cubic inch, 2-barrel, 200HP engine. We had it professionally changed out to a 350 CUBIC INCH, 4-BARREL CARBURATOR, 260HP ENGINE. The boat has 520 hours on it; the NEW ENGINE HAS 200 HOURS ON IT.We are the original owners. The boat was always in fresh water, used only about three weeks a year, never beached. Otherwise, it was cleaned, covered, and garaged. Also included is its double axle, removable tongue trailer which looks brand new. There is also an extra prop.The boat has a canvas top in great condition. Its top storage is out of sight under rear coaming pad and is easily accessible for set up. Sleeper seats are easily converted to lounge and sleeper positions. Bow seats have storage underneath. Sadly, it is time for our Barefoot 200 and my family to part ways. We have just had a child born at the beginning of June and I am interested in getting a bigger water boat. In no way are we in a hurry to sell this boat but it pains me to see it sitting idle. We are the 2nd owner. In great shape, still looks amazing. Freshwater only, and has never been in salt water. Compliments all the time on it! Gelcoat shines and is regularly waxed! Dual batteries with Perko. Barefoot International boom, Fly High Extended Pylon, and BI wake/ski racks. Alpine Stereo with ipod, auxiliary and usb ability. Matching Bimini top. Interior is original. This boat also had the competition package, with rear airguide speedo (visible when rear seat removed). 1995 200hp Yamaha Pro-V (original)- Runs excellent! All original, just had its annual maintenance. 4 blade stainless Power-tech prop (AMAZING prop btw). Water pump impeller was replaced like as preventative maintenance. Previous one still in hand as spare. 1995 Galvanized Pacific Trailer tandem Sportsman Trailer Tires are approximately 3 seasons old. Bearing Buddies. All trailer lights upgraded to LEDs. This boat is a great pull for slalom skiing with a very flat wake, and drives like a Porsche. All gauges and 1 speedometer work. The throttle/shifter control and steering move like silk, and when engaged the PerfectPass speed control locks in to hold the set speed dead on. It makes it easy for anybody to be a great slalom or wakeboard driver! The smooth and precise shifting/throttle control makes it especially suited to teaching beginners to ski as it gives the driver excellent control over the boat speed. With the right touch, you can gently pull a 4yr old up for the first time, or just as easily pull your 250Lb tree-stump brother-in-law right out of the water! The PerfectPass speed control acts similar to cruise control in a car. To use it, you use the menu and up/down buttons (while stopped) to enter the desired speed. Then you just drive the boat normally. It senses when the boat approaches the set speed, then automatically takes over to add or take away throttle as needed to very accurately maintain the set speed. To disengage, you simply pull the throttle back as you normally would to slow down, and the unit senses that and immediately disengages giving full control back to the driver. It really is a safe and excellent system that cost over $1000 when it was installed. Mechanically this boat is in excellent shape, but her age shows in the gelcoat. It is structurally sound, but cosmetically quite faded. A good buffing will do her good. The interior vinyl has been replaced and is in good shape, but the floor carpet is tired. I've owned this boat for about 20yrs and with it grew from a weekend skier to a competitive slalom course skier. It's been meticulously maintained (mechanically) and always reliable. My ski days are behind me now, so it's time to let her go. I bought it new with all of the upgrades. It has a timeless, yet modern design. The 21 VLX really turns heads because it is gorgeous on the water. It has long been the choice for families and pros alike. I landed all of my first tricks on this baby. With the Wedge and MLS (Malibu Launch System) you fly off of the wake. The air is ridiculous. It has a huge swim deck with access to put the Wedge up and down. It has an Indmar Monsoon which is basically a 350 Chevy to rip even your heaviest friend out of the water. The V-Drive helps with power too. Inside it has a great sound system, a built-in ice chest, even a table for cards or lunch on the lake. The captain's chair raises, the boat has Perfect Pass, which is basically cruise control for the water. Great for those perfect early morning runs. It has a heater hose for those chilly morning rides, and a windshield to cover the gap beneath the front windshield. This keeps the cabin nice and toasty. A bimini top keeps the rays out on those hot days. The bow even has an extra seat to fill in the gap for a massive area to sleep or cruise the lake. The Titan tower collapses to fit into your garage and really launches you off of the wake. It holds two wake boards and two skis. The Pivot hitch lets you fit the boat snugly into your garage. I will even through in all of my toys: Skis, training skis, competition slalom, wake boards, life jackets, tubes, and even a five-man water weenie. The toys alone cost me over $5k.
