During the shows filming, Irish Ayes spent continuous cycles of 4 - 5 days off shore in the middle grounds followed by 2 - 3 days on shore, and then out again from September through mid-November and was home to the shows producer, director and camera crews. She never missed a beat in some pretty dicey weather and long duty cycles. The shows producers are currently considering a second season and have expressed an interest in rehiring boat and crew.
