Lying in a marina in Vermont on Lake Champlain (fresh water). Recently redone bottom. Hull is fireproof fiberglass. Low hours on the engines. Was a live aboard prior to my purchase. Has been a certified US Coast Guard Auxiliary patrol boat since I bought it. No blisters. Price reflects winter pricing -- will go up (and with a broker) at the end of the month. 2 staterooms (1 with Queen and 1 with bunks), galley, 2 heads with shower, twin gas engines, gas genset, ships 700 gallons of gas, galley with stove and microwave, washer/dryer, saloon with sofas and television, electric windlass, table on aft deck, fly bridge (accessed by stairs) with bench seating around pilot chair, Upper and lower helm stations, radios at both helms, GPS chartplotter and manual crane and chocks for dingy or personal watercraft on aft cover (over aft deck). Maintenance done by marina staff (2 marinas). Comes with 700 gallons of gas which will need polishing as it was not in the water last year. Health forces sale. Looks nice and runs nice. US Coast Guard Auxiliary signs and logo materials on board not included in the sale. Large binoculars on fly bridge not included in sale. All else is as is. Buyer will arrange shipping at their expense or pick up in Vermont and sail away since the water is soft again. Boat is located at marina Pacifica in Long Beach CA. The boat is in excellent shape. The Interier needs upholstry and some fiberglass work over all an exceptional classic Uniflite. Serious offers will be considered, this is a lovely nearly finished project boat I just don't have time to finish with my other projects going on. You can call or send a email and schedule a time to look at the boat in the slip/test ride. You will need your own trailer to haul away, the slip cost is $300 a month and is in a good location if you want to keep it in the marina.

1985 Chriscraft Uniflite Cruiser 31 This 31' Chriscraft/Uniflite was originally utilized as off-shore police cruiser on Cheasapeak Bay for 25 years. This is only the 2nd owner. As a government boat it was always best maintained and still is. This boat has a cabin with 2 beds, a head, and is equipped with: Raytheon radar (2010), Dual Garmin plotter and depthsounder (2010) in pilot house and on flybridge, bimini top over flybridge, cabin heater, 4 speaker stereo system, Marine VHF radio, remote controlled ultra high spotlight, flashing LED yellow tow lighting, heavy duty tow pole, 4 tone compressor Amtrak train horn, aft sea platform with ladder. It is equipped with 2 x marine big block 454's (each approx 650 hrs), dual tanks, fresh water tank, dual batteries with on-shore charging system. This boat was in use at our marina as a towboat for emergency towing, but little use and docking space requirements make it necessary for us to sell. The boat is in great mechanical condition, and runs extremely well. We have added outdoor carpeting over the aft deck, which may need to be replaced. It is priced for a quick sell - no trailer is available and buyer will need to arrange for transport to it's new home port.

The PowerBoat Guide had this to say: The Chris 425/426/427 Catalina began life back in 1971 as the Uniflite 42 Double Cabin. She turned out to be one of Uniflite’s most popular boats and earned a reputation for sturdy construction and a practical, well-arranged interior. In 1984 Uniflite ceased operations when the company went bankrupt. Chris Craft bought the molds (as well as the old Uniflite production facility in Bellingham, WA) and resumed production of this model the following year, calling her the Chris 425 Catalina Double Cabin. While she looked exactly like the old Uniflite from the outside, the Catalina had a fresh interior layout with walk-around queen berths fore and aft—something the Uniflite 42 never had during her production years. The 425 designation lasted only a year; in 1986 she was called the 426 Catalina and benefited from a restyled and enlarged fly-bridge. The 427 designation came in 1987 and there were no further updates of significance.
