It has the drop seats so you can stand supported in rough water. The Mercury outdrive has a power steering Ram and a 5 blade stainless steel propeller. The interior is in excellent condition and the hull underneath looks perfect. The rub rail has some scrapes and the left side upper has a scratch. This boat new is over $100,000. It has a big stereo with excellent speakers. The trailer is aluminum, with aluminum wheels and powder coated. It has a snap on cover to keep the interior nice when parked on a boat dock. This boat only has 203 hours, it is kept in dry storage. It has a bathroom that has never been used. The lakes are full and its time to enjoy the water. This is an effective method however it was done to compensate for what the hull lacks and has its drawbacks. With our tested years of race experience we have not found the need to ventilate the bottom. Our pad bottom (some refer to as a modified V) is actually very unique and different. Not only is it notched, it is all part of the integrated design with the transom, chines, strakes and keel that allows us to hold 3 world speed records. To be able to do that the boat must be extremely safe. The design (without having several cup holes cut out of the sides to ventilate the hull) allows for more accurate steering of the boat as well as an ability to easily sit back down in the water. The driver is thus able to decelerate quicker and more safely than a ventilated bottom boat. We are a high volume motorcycle dealer in Mansfield Texas, as a result of our aggressive approach, we trade for numerous Boats and RV's. We dont have a RV or Boat service department to do a comprehensive pre-delivery inspection. We have a local boat dealer that will perform a pre-buy inspection, they charge $180 for this check out. Up for sale is a 30' Velocity race boat.Boat is the old undecided race boat and is in great shape. Boat is a staggered twin big block setup. No engines or drives with the boat however a\70% of the rigging including wiring and plumbing is there. Boat does come with a steel eagle trailer made for the boat. Also included in the sale is a pair of stellings transom assembly brackets, Brand new Mercury racing throttles/shifters, Brand new motor mounts front and rear, brand new saddle fuel tanks installed in the boat, set of livorsi gauges (missing tachs and speedo) Staggered side driveshaft, two seats, Boat ran 108mph with twin 575hp big blocks and bravo's. Would make a great poker run or race boat. Boat was AWLGRIP primed then painted silver flake ( bottom and top deck still need paint) Hull is in great shape and no fiberglass work is needed at all. Up top, the 260 Bowrider’s deck and cockpit liner are one piece, which also makes for more solid construction. In the bow, Formula provides filler cushions as a standard feature. They not only fill in the gap between the cushions, but they also fill in the angled back rests between the bow walk-through. It’s a fantastic setup that allows three-wide lounging up front. Behind the windshield, Formula designer John Adams created a space that’s welcoming and usable. To port, the lounge can be used as an aft-facing chaise or a bench seat for two. The back rest and portside dashboard conceal a spacious head. The wetbar includes a sink, Corian countertops, a concealed trash bin and a 17.5-quart Igloo cooler. For added convenience and safety, the wetbar is fitted with a stainless grab rail and its hatches are supported with gas struts. To starboard, the 260 has a U-shape lounge that wraps from behind the helm seat to the stern bench. A standard removable dinette table can be set at two heights, one for dining and a second, lower setting that provides a base for another filler cushion. Of course, the helm is the place to be and the 260 has room for two, with a separate flip-up thigh bolster at each position. Like all Formulas, the helm is laid out intelligently—and more important—simply, which makes checking the vitals that much easier. Buyers can choose between silver burl or woodgrain dash panels. A standard Ritchie compass tops the dash, which features Livorsi instrumentation, a Kenwood audio system and waterproof accessory switches protected by circuit breakers. Some other thoughtful touches include a motorized engine hatch, white LED courtesy lights for the cockpit and swim platform and polished cupholders throughout the interior. Such features typically aren’t found in entry level boats, but they are the kind of niceties that longtime boaters can appreciate. The 260 Bowrider could never pass for an entry level boat, but when people get into boating, models like the 260 are quite likely the end they have in mind—when they want to show they have arrived. This boat was a Bank Repo. The previous owner took the motor and drive, then let the boat go back to the bank. It was never abused or mistreated like most Repo's... Whoever took the motor and drive had full intentions of buying the boat back. (My theory) I have had plenty of these and this one is different. The guy plugged the gas hose and clamped it. Left all the clamps for the exhaust. Unplugged, unbolted, then zip tied the wires up nicely out of the way. Left the drive and tab pumps in place. He Left the bolts and brackets for the steering, shifter, throttle, engine hatch, etc... This boat is all there except motor and drive. The seats are super clean, engine compartment is Nice, Cabin carpet and seats look new, open bow carpet and seats look new, and the gel coat is BAD ASS!! It does have Mercury K planes, HP Gimble, Rockford Fosgate Stereo,Single Hydraulic Steering, and drop out bolster seats. The batteries were there, hooked up, and even half charged. Everything is there except the Motor and Drive. There is a bag full of manuals that includes the gps, etc... The pics have some condensation on the gauges that IS NOT there now. Boat comes with several NEW life vests, several ropes, and 10" bouys. I do have an XR Drive for the boat for $3500.
