This Glastron is in nice condition. It is stored on a lift. The engine runs well according to the seller. It has not been used regularly since purchased. The systems will need to be checked for proper operation. The vinyl seating is mostly intact, but a few seams are loose. Air Conditioner! 2005 Glastron GS 279 Sport Cruiser This is a nice Express cruiser. designed to be trailerable with her 8'6" beam, the 279 is one of the larger trailerable mid-cabin express cruisers available. This Express cruiser is well equipped and affordably priced. Glastons were designed with an emphasis on cockpit space for family comfort. There is a doublewide helm/aft-facing seat that converts into a sun pad. A roomy sun lounge is opposite the helm, and there's a removable bench seat at the transom. Additional features include a cockpit sink, an integral swim platform, and a walk-through windshield. Below decks, the cabin of the GS 279 is compact but nicely arranged and has 6' 2" headroom, with a dinette forward that converts to a v berth with a new custom mattress, a head with shower, a galley, and a mid-berth aft with sitting headroom. The cabin has an air conditioner! This is a nice handling boat with a single 280hp Volvo Penta sterndrive engine. Reason for selling is moving.

However, we have upgraded to a 39' Carver and she must go to a new owner. NEW BEGINNINGS! was repowered with a Michigan Motorz 5.7 complete engine with a Holley 650 CFM carb. Manifolds and risers replaced spring of 2015. Outdrive is a Volvo-Penta 280 with a 290 Duoprop lower unit assembled, purchased from and checked by Rick E. of the Bayliner's Owners Forum. Gear lube always been clear and changed as needed. Running B2 props, also new in May 2015. Engine has 240 hours and runs like a champ. Gets on plane at 3100 RPMS. Cruises easily at 3300 at approx. 19KTS. Cruising consumption in 12 GPH. Just don't let the secondary's open! Then you can be up around 20 to 21 as she effortlessly picks up speed. new trim tab power pack and actuators. The interior is in spotless condition with NO excuses! Engine was pulled out, cleaned, checked for any issues, painted and re-installed---boat was always used in fresh water and has not been used in salt as of yet--there isn't any corrosion. Manifolds are clean and good.... while out the PDS (gimbel) bearings on the jackshaft within the bell housings where replaced as well as the seals. Outdrive received new U-joints and upper half of drive was re-sealed... unit pressure checked OK and has fresh oil and paint. Boat was cleaned up, has new bottom paint, the boot strap was re-painted and the boat was given a good going over. Its not perfect but would make someone an excellent all around family cruiser. It is ready to go and is 100% mechanically... some additional elbow grease and wax would make this a real stunner. Engine ---305 Chevy V8 (5.0l) 225 hp with 4 bbl. Drive system is Volvo Penta 280. Trailer is Ez-Loader.... no papers for trailer. I will give bill of sale for boat and trailer and paperwork can be filed with DMV to have a supplemental VIN assigned to the trailer. Boat has forward berth, aft berth and the galley table goes down flat--it can easily sleep 6 and has a full marine head with shower. Vehicle Condition: This is a 1984 Bayliner 2460 Trophy Cuddy Fishing machine is in excellent condition for it's age! This boat has a Mercruiser 305ci Inboard motor with a Volvo 280 Outdrive. The motor and drive are in great running order. You can see in the photos below that we test drove this boat ourselves and had her up to 38MPH on GPS. Inside, this boat is in unbelievable shape for it's age. No soft spots in the floor, cabin looks decent, cockpit looks good as well and has a HUGE fishing deck. Large fish boxes on both port and starboard as well as a 3 drawer tackle center built in. There is a working Live Well and the cockpit hard-top lights work as well. Not everything on this boat is working and it does need some TLC to get it up to perfect condition, but it is a 26 year old boat and is in amazing condition. The gel-coat is all original and you can see this boat has been extremely well cared for it's entire life. Some of the gauges on the dash work and some don't. Nav lights do not work, but should be an easy fix. The Volt gauge does work, Temp gauge works, Tach Works, Oil Pressure works and has 40psi pressure. The horn works, Bildge pumps work, mostly all the important stuff is working. But please keep in mind this is a 26 year old boat so do not expect it to be brand new. Granted, it is in excellent condition and will be a great boat for the price for sure! Basically, if you are on a budget, this is the boat for you. Take a long look at all the photos I have posted.
