The above item for sale is a 1981 Wellcraft Scarab 377 offshore boat. I have been the owner of this gem for a the last 4-5 years. When I purchased it I had the engines completely rebuilt. I tuned it down to get better gas mileage and recently put new propellers on it giving it great control and power. I put a 4-blade Bravo 1 prop on both the drives this summer. With this combination you don't have to use the tabs to control the boat. One trim tab needs repair. That is why the picture shows it tied. I tore out the inside of the hull to start revamping the inside. So the inside will be a project for someone. I was planning to make everything wireless. Just got to many projects going so I don't have time to finish. The stern drives are TRS drives. The engines are 454 engines with 370 horse power each. They are offset and have just been winterized. I just took these pictures before putting her away for the season. The boat comes with a 1981 Continental 3-axle trailer. Tires are in good shape since I didn't use it much. No major issues, runs like a swiss watch, just had full annual service by Frank at Burbank Marine (I have papers). Just got back from lake, have pics and videos. Brand new marine battery. New marine Bluetooth stereo/speakers w/remote. 12v and USB inlets for air pumps/smart phones. Battery quick disc. Digital volt gauge on dash. New upholstery at rear transom. New bimini top and boat cover. No rot anywhere. Everything works (caveat - see issues below). Has ski locker. Just regreased bearings on trailer hubs, tires r excellent w/wheel locks + spare tire lock and cover. Skis, towables, lifevests, fire extinguisher, safety horns, new marine ropes, fenders this boat is 100% compliant and ready for water right now. I will fire the boat up for you. NOT two-stroke so suitable for ALL water. Shes been a freshwater, non-fishing boat so it doesnt stink, very nice and clean inside.Issues: Quicksilver 14x21 3 blade RH prop is new but has a small ding on one blade (arghhh), but nothing major. Trim gauge inop although this boat operates best at full trim down so never been issue. On the last trip out, window support rod driver side broke (while being trailered). Trying to replace plastic ends that broke now but support not necessary for operation (I did entire Lake Powell trip with it broken). Should be easy fix if i can find parts. Couple spots on upholstery (at hull transition) where there are some small splits, but 99% of upholstery is in great or new condition, no stains, etc). Call Matt 323 913 4193. $7300 $7300.00
