The Hull is constructed of single-planked wood with an external ballasted keel. The planks are secured with copper rivets. The deck is constructed of fiber-reinforced plastic over plywood. The Seller reports the sails to be either Crisp or in good condition, and the Mizzen has had some recent repairs. The Motor in this Mariner looks rough on the outside, but it's reported to run very well. Stock #397197 Great coastal cruiser or liveaboard for the the anxious shipwright looking for a classic sailing vessel This William Garden Designed Mariner 40 is an awesome wood-planked Ketch that was sailed a lot by its previous owners. At just over 40' in length, the Mariner has a forward stateroom with V-berth and a hanging locker. Just aft of that is the head with toilet, sink and shower, complete with 2 entrances. The Mariner originally came with a 120-gallon water capacity. In the Salon, the U-shaped dinette converts to nice sized berth for two, and the settee opposite pulls out for a quarter berth. There's also a quarter berth aft to starboard to give you a sleeping capacity of six. Another Hanging locker is under the Nav station. The Galley is well equipped with a propane stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator. The engine onboard is the Perkins 50-hp diesel. Up on deck, you'll find all lines run well to the cockpit, so you can single-hand this boat if need be. The sail inventory consists of the Main, Jib, Mizzen, Mizzen Staysail, and spinnaker. (The photo under sail is the Mariner before the hull was painted).

2004 Pacific Mariner Pilothouse - Hull #39 New to the market, the MACABUCA is by far the best equipped and best maintained Pacific Mariner 65 currently available! She is truly the definition of a turn-key yacht, that is ready to leave the dock and go cruising on a moments notice!  In 2014 when the current owners were searching for the best PM65 available, a one owner boat, the UNREACHABLE, stood out as being far nicer than any of the competition! After their purchase, the owners proceeded (at great expense) to make MACABUCA even more perfect, with long term ownership and long range cruising plans in mind. MACABUCA now has a new, and very expensive, Garmin electronics upgrade, a new A/C Chiller, V-Kool UV window treatment, new bridge and cockpit enclosures, new Gel Cell batteries, new multi-color/multi-function underwater lights, very recent full W-4 service on the main engines, and much more! The MACABUCA should be on the short list for anyone looking for cruising boat that is easily handled by a couple, but with separate accommodations for crew if need be. She is also one of the best running hull designs ever penned by William Garden. The exterior and interior were designed by Greg Marshall, who has many Mega Yachts to his credit. The PM 65 design was created to give the Yachtsman an affordable, reliable, low-operating cost yacht that would be versatile enough to operate efficiently at displacement speeds for long distance cruising or at 20 knots for long weekend cruising. Please review the detailed full listing specifications and photos for the complete story, and then call us to discuss this beautiful PM65, or arrange to see her!
