For full ad go to: https://persephone37.wordpress.com/ Dreaming of living aboard and sailing off to the islands? Persephone is a beautiful, well-maintained, fully equipped, self-sufficient, center cockpit sloop ready for cruising. As a well equipped and comfortable long-term live aboard yacht, she has taken her current owners to the Caribbean and back to upstate New York a number of times- and now she’s ready to take you to your dream destinations. “Persephone” was designed as the perfect coastal cruising vessel… large enough to be very comfortable yet simple enough to be able to sail her by yourself… a perfect combination of comfort and function. Through years of cruising, thoughtful upgrades and enhancements, her current owners have produced an exceptional live aboard vessel. Her extensive upgrades and refurbishing over the years makes her the one of the best equipped cruisers you will find in this price range on the market. Seasoned sailors will immediately appreciate the new Awl Grip on the hull, and on deck the Lewmar 65 winches and deep comfortable center cockpit protected from the elements by a dodger and bimini. Her windlass makes anchoring simple, and after the anchor is down, a cold beverage from the custom refrigerator will be appreciated. Worried about your beverages warming up at anchor? Never fear- her solar panels and wind generator output provides more than enough power. Down below, she has a spacious salon with center folding dinette, 6' headroom that leads forward to a head and V-Berth. LED cabin lights and aluminum Lewmar port lights keep brighten the interior, day or night. Her two staterooms and two heads offers plenty of room, lots of privacy, and an abundance of storage. When the winds dies, she is equipped with a 32 hp Universal diesel engine, 2 fuel tanks with Racor filters, and two 100 gallon water tanks. Main Salon ***Pictures Below***** The main salon features settees, port and starboard, and a centerline table with folding leaves and storage. There are plenty of opening ports, and an overhead hatch to provide wonderful ventilation. There is a navigator’s station aft of the starboard settee and the galley is aft of the port settee. A large custom made marquetry sailboat scene graces the forward bulkhead to port. Master Stateroom The O’Day 37 has a unique aft cabin master stateroom entered from the cockpit. It is completely private with a wonderful queen size custom pillow-top spring mattress berth. There is a hanging locker to port with storage shelves adjacent to the locker and berth. Additional storage is provided by more shelves and drawers to starboard. Five opening ports, together with the aft cabin companionway, provide wonderful ventilation. A private ensuite head contains a manual head and a vanity sink as well as a single opening port and overhead hatch. Guest Stateroom The guest stateroom is forward in the forepeak and consists of a comfortable v-berth with filler, storage under and in drawers and on shelves. An overhead hatch and an opening port allows for great ventilation. There is a full-size hanging locker aft of this cabin and opposite the head. Galley The spacious well laid out u-shaped galley is to port forward of the companionway and opposite the navigation station. It features 2 deep sinks with a butcher block lid, 3 burner stove with oven, a microwave, and plenty of easy access storage. The large, sensible, easy access refrigerator/freezer has a stainless steel holding plate and is just aft of the navigation table. Cockpit By far, the most comfortable cockpit you’ll find. Deep coamings with just the right angle to sit back and enjoy the sailing or the sunset. The teak table provides room for entertaining and dining all under the shade of the bimini. 2 huge lockers provides storage for everything! Excellent Daysailer. I learned to sail solo on Lake George with this boat. Handles like a dream. I've slept on it a number of time. The ads will say it sleeps four. I'd say two adults and two small children. The hull has been scraped, but not painted. I kept it on the trailer when I wasn't using it. So, I didn't need to paint it. I've replaced all the wiring, the stern light, the winch strap for the trailer, and the cable for the swing keel. The cushions have all been recovered with vinyl. Last July, I had the plugs, points, head gasket replaced, and the carb rebuilt on the motor. It's old. But, if you let it warm up for a few minutes, it will run all day. Boat comes with: --main and jib sails-- like new sheets, halyards, dock and anchor lines (bought at the beginning of last season).--'67 Envinrude 9.5 hp 2 cycle motor w/ long shaft (runs well)--two 5 gal. fuel tanks--new Deep Cycle Battery--new portable head. --two life jackets--3 step hook ladder--trailer is included in sale (2" ball required)--10lb stockless anchor and 8lb mushroom anchorThe usual info:Hull: monohull w/ swing keelRig: masthead sloopLOA: 22'LWL:18'Beam: 7.33'Draft: 1' (keel up)/ 6' (keel down)Displacement 1800lbs.

68' Venture 21 sailboat with trailer and outboard motor. This is a swing keel trailer sail boat with a shallow draft. 18" with keel up and 5' 6" down. Hull is in good shape and was painted 2yrs. ago. All fittings, mast, boom, rigging , and sails in good shape. A main, working jib , and 150% genoa are included. A mast raising rig is included. Its not original to the boat. I have raised the mast several times alone with it so it works. Though it is much easier with 2 people. Kick-up rudder with 2 tillers are in good shape. A new aux. engine mount was installed 2yrs. ago. Trailer is in excellent shape. New tires, lights, bearings, spare, all in good condition. The coupler extends to help keep your vehicle dry when at the launch. The little cabin stays dry and the door and hatch are fiberglass. Not wood. The keel winch looks almost new. I also have some of the original documents the boat came with. Including a 12 volt Motor Guide trolling motor and marine battery.

For Sale is my 1966 Tartan 27. I own this boat for almost 3 years and have spend countless days of restoring it. It still needs some TLC, but mostly cosmetic. I'm not going to write anymore at this time, if I were to mention every detail about this boat I would have to write a book. So just email, text, call and look at the boat. It is ready to take you any time and anywhere. This is one of the world famous Blue Water Pocket Cruisers. Not your fly by night weekender or coastal cruiser. This is the real deal. Not many of them around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHhp3dxUr5o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep7Ka68cAIw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep7Ka68cAIw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0_InBV-rdE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFRm3cgKX9I Restoration work already done: Deck Gel Coat completely removed (sanded down to the FG). Added several layers of heavy Glass Mats to the whole deck. Injected resin into the Deck core at soft spots. There are no leaks or soft spots throughout the deck. Rebuilt Cabin Hatch with wood and Fiberglass. Very sturdy and no leakage. Installed new Lexan (unbreakable) main cabin windows. Sealed with the strongest RTV Silicone. This is the same silicone that's used for sealing engine oil pans. Removed all other window frames and resealed with RTV Silicone. Completely rebuilt interior floor with pressure treated plywood and Fiberglass. Reinforced Mast footer with several layers of Fiberglass. Removed engine, cleaned, checked and painted. New Raw water pump, new mixing elbow, new muffler. Completely rebuilt engine bed with pressure treated plywood and several layers of Fiberglass. Installed engine with new upgraded motor mounts. Installed new electric head flushing system. The boat has no waste water holding tank. Only direct discharge. By law the head can only be used when at least 9 miles offshore. I do most my sailing much further out, so for me that wasn't a problem. For closer coastal cruising there would be the need for a holding tank or the use of a portable toilette. Installed remote control electric winch to self hoist to the top of the mast. This is a very unique and safe feature when used with a bosins chair and safety lines. Can be done completely single handed. I'm scared of heights but with this setup I winched myself up to the top of the mast and installed the new VHF antenna. All new 1/2" Halyards for Main and Head Sails. I also replaced every other working rope / halyard with brand new highest quality materials. All new LED interior and exterior lighting / navigation lighting. Front LED wide beam spotlight to see in the dark. I rebuilt the whole interior using mostly wood . Still needs some work but not too much. Boat is extremely clean and pleasant inside. Great Alpine CD / Radio sound system with (4) 6.5" Coaxial Speakers (2 kicker, 2 JBL). It really sounds fantastic. Brand new Standard Horizon VHF fixed mounted Marine Radio and Standard Horizon hand held for backup. Both fully waterproofed. 2 new marine fire extinguishers. 2 new batteries. New 100W Highest quality solar panel installed with charging regulator. Keeps both batteries fully charged, never have to use shore power. 1500 W Power Inverter for 110V. All new electrical wiring, switches and panels. New digital Dept sounder. 2 GPS Chart-plotters, 1 outside (Standard Horizon), 1 inside for backup (Garmin). New (rebuilt) Tiller Pilot, value around $500.00.
