I'm afraid I need to sell my Cal 22 sailboat. I bought this boat in the fall, and spent the winter making everything clean and safe. I inspected and tuned-up the mast, the hull, the upholstery, the electronics, etc.. She was launched 7 weeks ago. And unfortunately, 6 weeks ago my wife and kids decided that they hate sailing. This boat comes with a ton of extras, and a trailer. It can be easily trailed to anywhere you might wish with any kind of truck or SUV, and it draws no water. It has a 9.9 Honda that always starts, and also a very clean set of sails. The whole boat was professionally reupholstered a few years back. It has a West Marine dinghy, autopilot, stove, bbq, toilet. Because of it's length, berthing fees are cheap. I pay $100/month to berth in San Mateo. Insurance is also cheap. I pay $125/year to insure with Boat US, and $180/year for CA registration. I am happy to deliver this boat anywhere in California for a reasonable price. Here are the specifics:Motor: Honda 9.9, 5 gallon gas tank; recently cleaned and filled; 1 container of engine oilRudder: easily removable for trailering; new in 2002. Tiller: One is brand new and nicely varnished; the other is a spare; comes with a cover to protect the varnish; two telescoping tiller extensions; Autopilot: I'm not kidding. Who installs an autopilot on a 22 foot sailboat?Transom traveler: keeps the cockpit nice and cleanStanchions: Vey solid; guardrails were recently inspected and tightened; new guardrail covers come with the boat, as well as baby or pet netting. Sails: mainsail, jib, genoa, and spinaker, with two spinaker poles (all new in 2003; cost approx $2400)Boom/Mast: everything washed, inspected and lubed in April 2014. Nothing overlooked. Halyards runs smoothly. Has a excellent masthead windex.Lines: All halyards and sheets washed and inspected this past winter. Electronics: Compass and depth finder mounted permanently in boat. Electric system works nicely. There is a solar panel that trickle charges the 12v battery; this powers the autopilot, the masthead light, the bow and transom lights, the cabin lights, and depth finder. All connections look good.Navigation: GPS and chart plotter (via netbook)Docking: 2 fenders, several docks lines, 2 boat hooks.Anchors: two anchors, one brand new; chains inspected, cleaned and lubed in April 2014Bellow deck; nice, clean pillows and upholstery ($1872 project in 2011); new alcohol stove, water tank, sink, toilet, cooler, removable wood dining tableEmergency supplies: flares, fire extinguisher, fog hornWinches: Nice clean winches for the jib sheetJib Furler: This thing looks like overkill on a 22-footer, but is actually really convenient, especially when you're the only person on deck who can sail. Other: Bucket with boat cleaning supplies (soap, brushes, sponges, etc. . ..); West Marine inflatable dinghy, with 2 oars and lifting strapsPaperwork: Trailer registered with DMV; has a Permanent Trailer Identification card (registration never expires); Boat is registered until January 1, 2016. DMV charges $180/year. Boat is fully insured with Boat US. The policy costs me $125/yearComes with original CAL 22 owner's manual from 1987; and the Honda outboard motor manual Delivery: I could deliver her anywhere in California for a reasonable shipping fee. Thanks for looking. Call or write with questions. Geoff

New Topsides Paint - New Deck Paint - New Yanmar DieselNew Cushions - New Tanks - Maxprop (Located Wilmington, NC)This LeComte Northeast 38 is a Bill Tripp designed for day sailing, racing and cruising. Oh yeah, she's a beautiful boat. The boat has undergone extensive renovations in recent years: She has new topsides paint, new deck paint (with very tastefully done non-skid), a Yanmar 3GM30 (only 280 hours!), MaxProp, roller furling, good sails, a brand-new dodger (not shown), and new Raymarine ST60 instruments. The interior has been mostly redone. The interior is bone dry and has never experienced any mold or rot. The original integral keel tank has been replaced with a custom tank and the sole refinished. The headliner is molded fiberglass (not cloth or wood) and has just received a new look.Importantly, she has a new set cushions that look like they just came from the canvas shop. There is double-tank propane locker, aluminum tanks, and new solenoid system, but is missing the 3 burner stove. She's just been out of the water recently, bottom is smooth and blister free, prop got anti-fouling treatment. You want to sail the boat right now? Go ahead, have fun. Do some racing. Enjoy her.You want to go cruising? Most of the renovations are complete, but there are just a few bits of woodworking that need to be finished up. And there is no GPS, no autopilot, no 110v electrical system or charger (just basic DC wiring). The DC cabin and running lights need attention, and some odds and ends of plumbing need to be taken care of. Any person with minimal handyman skills could get everything done in a week. There are a lot of "Clorex bottle" boats out there. This ain't one of them. Here are some more details:LOA: 38 ft, beam: 11 ft 0 in, Draft: 5 ft 6 in, displacement: 16000 lbsMotor: Yanmar 3gm30, 28hp, v-drive. Installed about 10 years ago, but run only 280 hours and is like new.Tanks: Fresh water- 50, fuel-35 (new poly tank), poop 35 gallons.Layout: V-berth forward, then head, pull-out settees to port and starboard, with additional berths above and behind them, no quarter berth, nav-station and galley, icebox (no reefer). Electronics: RayMarine ST60+ wind/depth/speed, Raymarine VHF with remote mic.Sails: Genoa on Harken furler, Spinnaker, mainsail, all goodOther canvas: Cockpit cushions, dodger, mainsail coverDisclaimer:I think I've covered everything, but it is always possible to misspeak, so you have the right to survey the boat before purchase to check stuff out on your own. The boat is offered for sale in other places, so I reserve the right to withdraw the listing, change the price, etc.

Overhauled (2015) ocean-capable cruiser. Would make a great live aboard or offshore cruiser. Has survived 7 hurricanes. Everything below the waterline was replaced last year (through-hulls, engine shaft, propeller, etc). AC, refrigeration, LPG stove/oven, 90 gal water, 40 gal diesel. Perkins 4108 engine - runs great, rebuilt 2012. Complete details in survey. All recommendations in survey have been completed. Everything integral to the performance of the boat has been maintained or restored. There are some quirks, as with any boat though, most are cosmetic: The cushions are old and could use new upholstery, some stains and tears. The overhead upholstery is the same, stained with some tears, but overall acceptable condition. Side hatches leak to some extent; last winter I temporarily sealed them with silicone but there is some water damage to the overhead upholstery and some of the wood veneer has gotten soft over the years and fell away. All the top hatches do not lock closed (they close completely but the locks on them are broken). The refrigerator runs but does not get very cold. It takes R12. I have a can of it I bought recently but haven't added it to the system yet. The air conditioner blows very cold, recently replaced the capacitor for the motor and added a brand new water pump but the hose is old and could be replaced. All of the wood outside could use some sanding and varnish. I don't know how to pilot it so it has sat at the marina for the last year. Survey appraises it at $34,000, I'm asking $32,000. Money talks, come take a look make me an offer.
