Thank you for looking at this sale. What we have is a Fresh out of the Barn Wriedt Stinger Jet boat..She was parked in the Barn 16 years ago..This is a 1976 built boat that since has had the carb cleaned along with a new Fuel pump put on and A new battery and it fired right up once the gas tank was flushed and cleaned and new gas added..The hot foot as seen is pics does don't go with this sale...It does have the factory hot foot that will go with the boat..However it will need the cable replaced. We did just before it got Wisconsin cold run the boat up the river and it ran out nice with a top speed around 65mph..This thing sounds good and tuff and from what I was told is realy low hrs on the motor..Please see pics and email me for more info or pics..This is a bid offer sale....So please send your offers..And don't forget spring is just around the corner....This is a pic up sale only...I willnt ship it nor will I do any thing in lines with shipping...Can in hand and you drive away..And lets keep in mind this is a used jet boat and is sold as is where is..So please if you live close and want to come and see it im open to show it to you at any time.. A classic 1976 Wriedt Montara 23ft day cruiser. One owner from new. Manufactured in California. Spent all it's life in fresh water and in a garage when out of the water. The engine, jet pump, and complete interior was redone in 2010. Used sparingly since then. The 454 was completely taken apart and professionally rebuilt, as was the Berkeley I/O jet drive and pump. The metalflake finish on the boat is still very nice. Includes a Calkins EZ Load trailer with new winch and hitch. Tires on the trailer are very good. Also includes a full cover that is in good condition. There are a few areas that could use some sewing. Also a cover for the front seating area. The seats in the cockpit are starting to crack a bit, but are still very presentable. This is a beautiful classic boat that is mechanically refurbished and ready to go. Come and take a look at this boat and you will be sold on it. Located by Fox Lake, IL approx. 60 miles NW of Chicago. Boat must be picked up. Questions?

Changed to H.E.I. Ignition distributor. Restore project that don't have time for anymore, all is in good working order to my knowledge. Have new back seat frame made just needs to be upholstered. Have the towski bridle, ladder, anchor w rope, life jackets, bumpers and other extras. Bought small farm and no for the boat. Have video of engine running can text.

This Wriedt jet day cruiser has a fiberglass hull, is 22.67 feet long and 92 inches wide at the widest point. The boat weighs approximately 3180 pounds with an empty fuel tank and without any gear or passengers. Trailer included.

This boat is considered an antique. 1972 model with original interior. The 150 HP Mercury 2 stroke with push this boat down the lake in a hurry. 45+ mph. Red medalflake with silver on the side makes this boat a real head turner. Boat and Motor is in very good condition for its age. You will get plenty of looks and waves on the water.

Very nice 1976 Wriedt Jet boat from the west coast. Custom paint by the world famous Tom "Cat" Spangler. Custom seats and custom paint on boat. See build pictures from around 1999 with new floor and stringers.Many new parts including Holley 750 duel feed, electric fuel pump, Hilborn scoop, and Alternator. Runs very nice at 45-50 mph at 3,800 rpms, top speed around 65mph. Over $4,000 in receipts in making this boat a vintage resto mod.
