The hull is 6 feet wide, the Mast height sitting on top of the boat measures 19' 6" long. Has been outdoors covered, not in water since 2003. 2002 Magregor 26x There is a lot of great information about these boats online. I have thoroughly enjoyed this boat for the last 5 years and almost everything on it has been upgraded and continually maintained. It is not a project, it is turn key and ready to go.2015 - Brand new motor, control cables & steering, running rigging, interior cushions, carpet and electronics. The motor is a brand new model Suzuki DF20A fuel injected and was purchased March 2015 and has the remainder of the 3 year factory warranty. During the installation new teleflx exteme shift and throttle control cables, telelex rack & cable and fuel lines/filter were installed. The controls are flushmount and the motor is mounted on an adjustable jackplate with all cables and wiring concealed and run directly to the motor. The motor averages .3gph~5mph, .5gpph~6mph, and 1gph~9mph.Sails: Cruising Weight North Sails main with 3 reef points, shelf foot & cunningham. Main control via double mainsheets led back to the helm. Original Doye main and boom included. CDI furler, Factory Jib, additional working Jib and spinnaker included. Sail control with cabintop tracks & 7' schaffer T tracks along the cockpit combing. Jib, main sheet, and furling lines led along the 7' tracks to easy reach at the helm & multiple cam cleats (10) for easy sail control. Exterior- all running rigging new and color coded. Full cockpit deck and swim platform with ladder. Full factory cockpit cushions, boarding ladder, large bimini with rear supports & 6' standing headroom underneath. Factory lower sunbrella bimini also. (can be set on the 7' tracks and slid along the entire cockpit) Sunbrella mainsail cover, 22 lb delta plow anchor on windline bow roller, Danforth stern anchor and mount, 8 stainless dock cleats, LED running and anchor lights. Bottom coated with 20 mils of 2 part high build epoxy and Petit SR Pro bottom paint (2014) Original trailer used twice a year & overhauled in 2012.Interior - 20 gallon fresh water tank, electric fresh water pump, & stainless sink. Stainless flushmount alcohol stove and butcherblock countertop. Custom cabinets under every seat & unused area for dry organized storage. Wood dining table with plexi insert (original table/berth included). Led Lighting throughout including above V berth, aft berth & bathroom. All leds on dimmers. 95% of wire replaced with marine tinned duplex including mast wiring & 3 deep cycle batteries. New standard horizon VHF in 2015 along with 4 speaker marine stereo & wired remote at pedestal, 2 speakers above V berth and 2 weatherproof in cockpit. 100% dry and without any leaks or smells. Numerous other interior modifications for comfort & access. This is one of the last 26Xs made before the switch to the 26M. Throughout the run of the X the model progressed and several significant changes were made by the factory for safety, durability, and reliability. According to them this included a different deck layup & lamination system around 2000 that was much stronger with no balsa coring. It also included a steering redesign with a different console, steering box, stainless vs aluminum rudder mounts, resigned rudder blades and a lot of other little changes to the interior & exterior build. This being one of the last ones off the line has all of the factory updates. I have always kept this boat well maintained and ready to go with no issues "waiting" to be fixed. It has never once left us stranded or in a difficult situation. There many other features on it best discussed in person. We are still using it regularly and it is currently slipped in the Virginia ICW in fresh water until January 2016 when it will be put on the trailer and kept at the same location with onsite ramp. My reason for selling is that I have bought a larger boat. If you are a serious buyer please contact me for a phone number and time to come take a look at it in person. I am willing to spend weekend going over everything on it and helping the buyer load it on the trailer if not local. Most of the pictures were taken 9/15/2015.

Up for sale is my 16' Prindle. The main sale is multi colored and in very good shape considering this is not a new boat, the jib is solid Yellow. The Boats pontoons are in very good shape with no soft spots. The Trailer is Aluminum and also in good shape and has bearing buddies installed. I have not sailed in years but have sailed extensively on both this prindle and other sailboats. The 16 Prindle handles the heavy wind far better than a hobie and very importantly can be self righted when/if you flip it by just one person. This point can not be overstated you dont want to be stranded in the middle of the lake because you are sailing an 18' It will take a weekend to clean up and to do the intisl setup. On a prindle each rudder is raised and lowered manually and independantly of the other by two different lines, for a total of four four foot lines. These lines are about three to four feet long each. These lines are available at lowes or home depot in the rope section and cost a total under $10.00. It is easy with just a coat hanger to re-line your rudders in about 20 minutes and is part of good maitenance to do on who evers prindle you adopt. Besides this just a good overall cleaning and waxing much like you would your car. The trailer has Michigan plates but the tabs are expired. I contacted secretary of state today and was told that boats under 20' in Michigan do not have title but just a bill of sale, please feel free to confirm this independantly with the Michigan Secretary of State office. All the other ropes and block along with the main and jib sails and the boom, Mast and cables, have been stored inside and are in excellent condition. I am no longer including the trampoline so you will have to buy a new one. This is good because new trampolines are so much better than the original trampolines that came with these boats. The reason is you tend to slide across these tramps very often as you move from port to starboard under the boom and vice versa and nothing is worse than the original trampoline for this or a modern trampoline with burs/small inperfections. You also want a trampoline that will be smooth to slide across without any obstacles in the mat ie Straps, Gromets, Rope and in my opinion rope pockets. See Aromic Tarp Website for 16' Prindle Mats. http://www.atomictarp.com/catamaran_trampolines?id=catamaran_trampolines&bas=&categories=4 The prindle is at my home on commerce lake in Commerce Township, MI. It is loaded on its aluminum trailer in my driveway. $650 firm 248-266-2045 or 248-894-6387 Emailing is the easiest way to reach me, I check my email often thru out the day and can respond to any questions quickly.

Docked in Morro Bay, California and sailed often. Before that she was on her trailer in Nevada and sailed infrequently on Lake Tahoe. (the bottom photos are from the original Flicka brochure and are not of this exact Flicka) Since Bruce Bingham published the Flicka line drawings in RUDDER in 1972, Flicka's have been built in ferrocement, wood and fiberglass. They have been rigged as a gaff cutter, masthead sloop, fractional sloop, marconi cutter, yawl, schooner, wishbone, top-sail gaff-cutter, bald-headed gaff-cutter, lateen, and Chinese Lug (Junk rig). Flickas have crossed the Atlantic, the Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico and sailed to the Sea of Cortez from California, as well as cruised the Sea of Cortez. They have cruised the Mediterranean from France to Corsica and Minorca and even crossed France by canal. There are few oceans which have not been explored by these seaworthy "little ships." Over the years, the Flicka has acquired a reputation for seaworthiness, speed under sail and bringing her crew back home from the sea. Wherever the next harbor is, the Flicka is recognized - her perky sheer, blunt bow, beautiful transom are known to all sailors. The conversation usually begins with, "Is that a Flicka? Salty looking little boat. You can go anywhere in that boat - seaworthy. The Flicka is sailed by people all over the world." "Whether the Flicka has reached over 300 because she's a beautiful and distinctive boat or because she's built to take the sea is impossible to determine. Regardless, the Flicka's popularity is a tremendous source of pride for me, not to mention the justice done to her design by Pacific Seacraft. The many many miles that I sailed in Sabrina were exciting, fulfilling, confident, enjoyable and comfortable ones. She did everything ever asked of her and did it extremely well bespeaking both the success of the Flicka design, the wisdom crafted into it's turn-of-the-century ancestors and the diligence of those in the plant which translates the Flicka into a 20th century reality. The Flicka is still my dream and my most rewarding achievement and experience." ~ Bruce P. Bingham Flicka 20 Specifications These are the hull specifications from the Pacific Seacraft Flicka. Stable fiberglass sailing boat carries six people (or 1170 pounds). Includes trailer, full rigging, and TWO suits of sails. One suit of sails is in like new condition, the other set is in very good condition. Serial number 1929 (built in late sixties to early seventies I believe). The centerboard swings up into the cockpit, so you can change the depth to dock in shallow water. The rudder also swivels up if it hits an obstruction. The trolling motor in the photos is not included. There is, however a permanent motor mount on the stern. The boat will take up to a 5hp motor, but my 30lb. thrust trolling motor drives it around just fine. The boat is located on West Otter Lake, Angola, IN. Buyer with the selling price in cash or Pay Pal payment can drive it away. (Trailer takes an 1 7/8" ball hitch.) The following article from Sailing Magazine gives a great description of Rebel sailboats. You can access the original on SailingMagazine.net. Rebel 16 2008 January 8 By Staff This nimble and tough classic is perfect for a daysail or a day of racing This year the boat that holds claim to being America's first production fiberglass one-design will celebrate its 60th birthday. That the boat is still in production makes this milestone that much more remarkable. In 1948, fresh out of the Navy, Ray Greene began building a 16-foot family daysailer out of his Toledo, Ohio, shop using a revolutionary new material called fiberglass. The design of the boat was based on lines drawn by a local high school drawing instructor by the name of Alvin Younquist. With its wide, 6-foot, 7-inch beam and 110-pound steel centerboard the stable little boat known as the Rebel soon became a hit on the Midwest's inland lakes. And while Greene said he never intended to create a racer, thanks to the boat's performance-courtesy of a large 120-square-foot main and 46-square-foot jib on a fractional rig-it wasn't long before a competitive structure was built around the boat. By 1952 a class association had been firmly established and by 1963 the class boasted 138 active members. Not bad. Fleets started popping up across the Midwest, south into Kentucky and all the way down to Texas. Meanwhile, class members could be found sailing the inland lakes of the Eastern Seaboard from New York to Florida. After 25 years of building the Rebel, with more than 3,000 hulls produced, Greene was ready to call it quits and sold the works to a group of Chicago investors. Production of the Rebel continued at a steady pace during the 1970s, and was done under a number of names: Melling Tool Co., Rebel Industries and finally Spindrift One Designs. After Spindrift folded, the Rebel moved to Michigan in 1988 when Nickels Boat Works of Fenton took over with the production of the Mark V model. Nickels continues to build the Rebel, offering buyers a choice of a daysailer version for $9,860 or the optimum racing version for $11,872 less sails and trailer. A stainless steel centerboard now comes standard with the Rebel. Nickels also continues to be a great source for parts and accessories, as well as information, on the Rebel. One tough Rebel While there have been reports of problems with the foam flotation on older boats becoming waterlogged, that has been less of a problem on boats from the 1970s and later. Other than that, a buyer of a used Rebel should find few issues with the condition of this durable little boat. Indeed, boats 25 years and older will still top regatta leaderboards. "They're well made, very rugged boats that will last forever," said Al Vorel, National Rebel Association Commodore, who has been racing the same boat, No. 3914, for almost 20 years. "You don't have to run out every 5 to 10 years to buy a new boat." This is one of the reasons for the longevity of the class. Boats tend to stay in the family, passed down from parent to child, with the younger generations wanting to keep the racing going. "My mother races, and my daughter sometimes races, so there are times we'll have three generations on the course," Vorel said. This also, of course, keeps a lot of boats off the market, and finding a used Rebel can be a bit of a challenge. But thanks to the Internet, it's possible to locate a few sellers. Prices can vary from just under $1,000 for an older boat in need of some work to $3,000 or more for a later model. Buyers can typically expect to pay in the neighborhood of $1,500 for a pre-Nickels-era boat in good shape. We were fortunate enough to find a late 1970s Rebel listed for sale on www.craigslist.org. Better yet, the seller was within trailering distance. The offer on the boat was $1,400, so we drove out to take a look. The boat was well cared for, kept under a roof winters, and showed no structural damage. Other than some algae stains and scuff marks the finish looked good, and all the gear was there, including the main and jib, which the owner said he bought new about seven years ago. We did see some possible issues, including a rusty, pitted centerboard and a wooden rudder that looked to have some rotting. So we offered to pay the full $1,400 if the owner threw in the trailer, which he originally wanted an extra $200 for. The deal was closed and we drove off with the Rebel in tow. Rebel with a cause With the boat parked in our yard the first item of business we wanted to take care of was the rusty centerboard. Nickels offers a stainless steel replacement board, and we could picture how sweet the boat would look with a shiny new stainless fin. Unfortunately, these centerboards run close to $1,000; more than two-thirds the cost of the entire boat. So such an extravagant purchase didn't make much sense. Instead we set about rehabilitating the old board. We removed, with a bit of difficulty, the 110-pound board and set in on sawhorses. The first step was to remove the old paint using paint stripper, then power sanding. We then slathered on some Duro Naval Jelly to remove the rust, wiping down everything with paper towels then finishing up with a clean, acetone-soaked rag. Next, we filled in the pits and hollows with West Marine Surfacing Putty, and sanded everything smooth. We made certain the blade was fair by running a straight edge along the board. We also further faired the rounded leading edge of the board to within the class rule limits, which prohibit tapering less than 1/16th of an inch and more than one inch in from the leading edge. We then primed the board with several coats of Interlux Primocon primer, which when dried we wet sanded with 400-grit paper, and finished with a couple coats of Interlux VC-17m Extra bottom paint. With the centerboard done, we then turned to the rudder. An ice pick determined the wood was beginning to rot near the lower trailing edge. We probably could have rehabilitated the rudder as well, but since we had saved some money by not replacing the centerboard we decided to spring for a new rudder. We opted for a fiberglass blade, supplied by Nickels for $375. This cost covered just the blade, as the original aluminum rudder cheeks and hardware were still in good shape. While we were on the phone with Nickels, we decided to order all new running rigging to replace the weathered lines the boat came with. This included lines for the cunningham, boom vang, centerboard system, as well as sheets and halyards for both main and jib. The total for 112 feet of ¼-inch line and 105 feet of 5/16-inch line came to $100. Next we took a closer look at the standing rigging. The spars showed no defects, and with a bit of metal polish and elbow grease the rotating mast, boom and aluminum whisker pole looked good as new. The 1-by-9 stainless steel shrouds and forestay also showed no visible defects. We did, however, find the diamond stays on the mast to be tuned rather tight. According to the North Sail's One-Design tuning guide for the Rebel, an overly tight diamond can limit fore and aft mast bend, and can even cause negative pre-bend, where the mast bends forward at the tip. Since we want to have a competitive boat, we loosened the diamond tension and will readjust after doing some sea trials. As we said, we ultimately wanted to race our Rebel and didn't want a slow boat. So obviously the 7-year-old suit of sails had to go. This would be our biggest expense, and a new suit of sails would alone exceed the original cost of the boat. A new main and standard jib (a light air jib is also available) from North Sails set us back $1,615, which included $20 for class royalties but not shipping. Certainly this was a blow to our budget, but we rationalized it by thinking about the fun we would be having with some close racing come summer. Our last order of business was getting our bottom clean and smooth. We first scrubbed the hull down with a detergent then wet sanded everything below the rails to a slick surface with 1,200-grit paper. After a rinse and wipe down with the hose and clean towels we were satisfied we had a slick bottom. We finished off by treating all our hardware and moving bits to a little McLube Sailkote spray. We now have what we feel will be a contender on the course for our racing crew of two. Yet, with the roomy Rebel cockpit that can seat six, we're also looking forward to some lazy summer daysailing when friends and family show up. Either way, we'll certainly get our money's worth from this tough but nimble little classic. LOA 16' 1.5" LWL 15' 10" Beam 6' 7.5" Draft 3' 4" Weight 700 lbs, Sail area 166 sq. ft.

Here's the TLDR;6 HP 2 stroke outboard Yamaha, runs well, no issues.Roller furling but missing jibMain sail, good conditionBrand new marine battery20 gallon fresh water tankOrigo alcohol stovePorta-potty As a boater, I understand the need to know everything about a boat - so below is a thorough walkthrough. I bought this boat hoping to sail it south this winter - I tried, but discovered the hard way that I need a 30-odd foot vessel to make that trip safely. The original owner had it for a long time and took very good care of it. At 25', it has about 6 feet of headroom and is both comfortable to stay in but also just small enough to put on a trailer. Hull: This boat is solid as a rock. The hull and deck are in excellent condition - no transom spidering, little deck spidering, no signs of soft spots in the cored deck, the through-hulls and seacocks have been maintained and are in good condition. The through deck fittings are all in good order and there is no leakage through the deck in a rain. Sails: -Mainsail in good condition. I have sailed with this sail; it works well and points high. It has a little cosmetic imperfection but has no tears or structural issues. Mast track slides, battens, and grommets in good order. -The boat needs a jib. There is a Furlex roller furling unit (Furlex Type A MKII) installed and in good order that is ready to accept a roller furling jib with #5 luff tape. Or a hank-on jib could be bent on. Engine: 2-stroke 6hp Yamaha outboard - long shaft, on an adjustable transom mount. Runs very smoothly and quietly. 100:1 fuel:oil ratio. Drop down engine mount, throttle extension for easy use from cockpit.I think the manufacturing date is late 1980s or early 1990s. I am presently looking into the exact date. Interior: From bow to stern: V-berth with plenty of stowage below, Head with port-a-potty, sink, and medicine cabinet, Main salon with 2 berths/benches, fold-down table, storage under berths, shelving on each side,Galley with large ice box, slide-out double Origo alcohol stove, sink, dish storage, and counter space,Rear bilge accessible from cockpit- lots of stowage space. The previous owner did extensive work varnishing the teak and upholstering the walls and ceiling with carpetry. The cushions are in good condition with a few minor tears. Systems: -Brand new Sportsman marine battery - I bought this new in October as the one that came with the boat was flat. I have only used it very lightly (only for VHF and running lights) and it is sitting at full capacity.-Solar panel to recharge battery-Electrical system in good condition throughout boat - masthead VHF radio, speedometer, engine startup, interior lighting, electric heater, masthead and running lights (stbd. bulb needs replacement), connection to solar panel for battery charging-Refrigerator for shore power-Yamaha Fuel tank and extra gas can, gas line with bulb in good flexible condition with spare line also in good condition. Both filled with new gas/oil mix in October-Large water tank with connections to head and galley sinks (galley pump faucet needs replacement)-Deluxe port-a-potty - odorless system and easy removal. Through-hull and deck pumpout fittings are in place to install a proper head if desired (just need head, holding bladder, and septic lines) Gear: -Danforth anchor with lots of chain and long, good condition, strong line. I have slept overnight on this anchor.-Lots of spare 3 strand and double braided polyester line-Boat hooks, fenders, life sling-Shore power cable-Small library of classic sailing books-Multiple sets of nautical charts for Long Island Sound-Multiple sets of traditional course-plotting gear-Dry box, tools and lots of spare sailing parts-Boat cleaning, engine maintenance, and interior upholstery products-Fish Finder-Extra bilge pumps-Big set of Coast Guard passable PFDs-2 fire extinguishers Other items: -Aluminum mast, boom, gooseneck, and spreaders all in solid condition. There is some scuffing on the anodized layer. Standing rigging and chainplates mounted into the deck in good condition and vertically braced inside the boat.-The bottom has been dived on and cleaned regularly - thick paint job from a year ago is holding up excellently. No signs of blistering.-Rudder is a tiller control and has a tiller extension and a simple homemade autopilot system.-All deck fittings and running rigging present and accounted for - 2 jib winches and 1 halyard winch in good working order (port jib winch should get new bearings), traveller bar/car solid and working though needs new bearings. Jib tracks and cars in good condition, roller furling unit and extrusion in working order. The line and the blocks of the main halyard, jib halyard, spinnaker halyard, main sheet, vang, backstay, outhaul, downhaul, and reefing line are all in good condition. Please feel free to ask me any questions; I will check this listing daily.-Brian

The jibs (2) are approx. 5 years old and like new, the main is in good condition but older. Includes all the original lines for emergency spares, several life jackets, trailer with newer tires, new fenders, new winch, new lights, and current Mass reg. The motor is a 1983 Honda 7.5HP 4 stroke outboard, which is stored indoors off season. Never saw salt water before 2013, and refinished exterior and recently serviced by Merrimac Marine. Runs like new, and perfect for this size vessel. Current Mass reg of the boat and trailer, and ready to go! The only thing this boat needs is a new owner, and is a beauty. Lots and lots of compliments wherever we go. It will do approx 8 knots, which is fast for its size, with the 2 jibs. A lot of fun to sail, and no need to pay for a mooring. This is designed to have the mast raised and taken down easily with 2 people in about 20 minutes. The total weight including trailer, boat, and loaded with gear is approx. 4,000lbs, so it can be towed by many smaller vehicles as well. Willing to deliver within a reasonable distance, and launch if needed as well (in case you don't have a tow vehicle and want to moor/dock it).
