She has spent all but the first year of her life in the freshwater of the upper Hudson River.She is powered by twin 454 Crusaders with approx. 900 easy hours. She has excellent range with twin 150 gal. aluminum gas tanks. Other tankage includes a 75 gal. water tank, 100 gal. holding tank and 12 gal hot water heater.The "California Girl" has all of the usual electronics; chartplotter, depth finder and vhf radio. This is a very clean Fresh Water Under Cover 48 Motoryacht with about 2100 hours on Caterpillar 3208TA engines and about 3000 hours on a Kohler 12.5KW Generator/ This is a 2 Stateroom layout which features a huge Master Stateroom 2 1/2 Heads; Full Galley; Convertible Dinette; Sleeper Sofa; and Large Aft Deck and Bridge. Owner has all records back to the original delivery including owner's manuals. She has been well maintained my a very experienced owner and is up to date and is in fantastic condition. The batteries and Isinglass were replaced in 2011. The Garmin 5212 was installed in 2010; Hawkeye Depth Sounder was installed in May 2007; The Bottom was painted and Props tuned and poished in July 2014 along with new zincs. 1981 Custom 68' Stretched Bertram 58' Yachtfisher Built by the Kato Boatworks Yard in Japan this vessel was constructed from the design plans for a 58 foot Bertram then extended 10 feet in order to add the aft cabin. It is a GRP hull with the decks and portions of the house made from aluminum. She's been used as a live-aboard and has a huge amount of space (over 800 square feet!). This vessel has traveled to Mexico and is an Alaskan veteran. With the deep "V" hull and stabilizers it makes her a suitable ocean traveling vessel. Her flybridge feels like a ship with great visibility and lots of seating. This vessel also boasts a hard cover enclosed bridge deck. It is well equipped for extended cruises and features systems for pot pulling and fishing (with deck mounted freezers). The aft deck and cockpit are large areas for fishing or entertaining.
