1989 Island Packet Centerboard The Owner's of "Mary Time" just called me and said we want her SOLD, Just Reduced $10,000 to $79,900 !!! "Mary Time" is an EXCELLENT example of the popular Island Packet 35 with a centerboard!! She has been VERY WELL maintained by her ONLY OWNER since she was new and it shows. In January 2015 all of her Teak was refinished with Cetol, 3 coats of regular and 2 coats of Gloss and the hull was compounded, buffed and waxed and boy does it shine. She has only 1328 hours on her Yanmar 35 HP engine and was kept on Fresh Water the first three years after commissioning. 1997 Kirie Feeling 396 Centerboard "BLOOMS" is a terrific vessel for our Florida waters. Drawing just 2' 10" with the board up and 7' with it down. This vessel has a strong presence in Western Europe and was built in France. Very few of these vessels were imported to the USA. The hull is mostly flat from stem to stern to minimize the depth of the underbody. Support skegs on both sides of the centerboard trunk protect the prop in those areas. Twin rudders which are elliptical foils are canted port and starboard and are designed to accept the weight of the entire vessel when it is on the "hard." Two heads, both with showers forward and aft, is a bonus on this vessel. Pressure Hot & Cold water, double sinks, refrigerator and a 3 burner Propane Oven and Stove. "Blooms" is well equipped and ready for a new captain and crew. Enjoy sailing in places where other mono-hull sailors can only dream.

Of course this is the 1968 Morgan 30 lying in Stratford CT. The Morgan 30 is a centerboard sloop with a reputation of being a steady sailor with good sea keeping qualities and more ballast than most boats. They are prized by the offshore pocket cruising crowd as being well found and having a good heart. This Morgan 30 is a work in process. She has been on the hard for the past four years undergoing some work. The good news is that the heavy lifting has been done with a soda blasted bottom, new rudder shaft bearings and well, new sea cocks, Beta Marine Diesel, new aluminum fuel tank, mast refurbishment, new standing rigging, and refurbished centerboard. Not to worry, there is plenty more to do for a competent shipwright. She needs a new roller furling gear or forestay depending upon your preferences.
