The boat shows its age and there are many cosmetic deficiencies, however it is a solid boat and mechanically sound. The engine hoses are not leaking but show their age. The boat is clean inside and out. There were no musty old boat smells or engine room fluid smells. The exterior handrail is very glossy. The teak decks look to be in good condition. The teak toe rail has been painted over, the paint is chipping off. THE GELCOAT HAS EXCESSIVE CRAZING FROM THE FLORIDA SUN. (Please see the pictures, so you know what to expect). This is an old boat with weathered character, not a showpiece. The exterior sun shades are in nice condition. The exterior cushions and canvas all appear to be in good condition. The non-skid deck surfaces are clean and look to be in very good condition. The helm looks clean and laid out well. The salon is in very nice condition. The brightwork looks great. Per the seller, the hull is old-growth Douglas Fir with steam-bent oak ribs and sealed over with fiberglass. She is super watertight other than the normal slow accumulation from the prop. Block and tackle are handmade of bronze shivs and locust wood... a few are Douglas Fir. Hand-shaped mast and hardware... Custom bulwarks and bowsprit.. The masts measure up to 40' and the sails are canvas. The rigging was replaced in 2021. The 14-foot beam and 42 6 length overall gives this boat great outside and interior spaces with plenty of storage. The aft area is shaded by a sculpted hardtop and protected by a complete enclosure. This area includes plenty of room for deck furniture and has a wet bar, refrigerator and separate ice maker. There are three steps up to the spacious bridge which has a raised Captain's helm seat and a doublewide seat to starboard. Forward of the helm is a curved settee which will seat three. Step down into the large salon which is highlighted by finished teak, beautiful cabinetry and paneling. This boat features a lower helm station with complete instrumentation. The galley area includes a refrigerator, 3 burner stove top, oven, microwave, deep stainless steel sinks and a raised dinette which converts to a double bed. There is plenty of storage under the dinette seats and a large storage area under the helm which is accessible via a sliding door.
