1971 Slickcraft SC-285 It is a 1971 Slickcraft SC-285 Hard Top. This boat was built at the Slickers plant in Holland MI. and has not left Lake Michigan her entire life. It is 28.5' in length with a 10.5' Beam and a 3' draft. The dry weight is listed at 8050 lbs. It has a sturdy and SOLID fiberglass deep V-hull; very sturdy when trolling or running and can safely handle the snotty conditions that can spring up on the lake. The twin inboard 302 (215 HP) Mercruiser engines have just over 500 hours on a rebuild with 2500 hours in total. The previous owner of 23 years was a mechanic for the Chicago Fire Department and was meticulous with maintenance.
