Entire downstares and main saloon was renovated by replacement after taking it down to the fiberglass. Project took 3 years to complete. Yacht sunk (turned over on its side) several years ago and needed to be gutted and everything replaced. Well done...see pictures. The engines and transmissions were removed. shafts and props remain. Flybridge needs all electronics replaced. Decks appear to be solid after a walkthrough. Air conditioners were repaired as was the Generator. Stock #276115 58 Fisherman project boat, no engines, LED Lighting, newer teak paneling! 1979 hatteras 58 foot Yachtfish Use it as a perfect 3 stateroom live aboard Houseboat. Engines and transmissions were removed. NO ENGINES OR TRANSMISSIONS are in the boat nor are they included in the sale. They were Detroit 8v71's. Generator is working and was repaired. The 2 airconditioners are functioning and also were repaired. The Yacht is a salvage project....it sunk several years ago. Renovations were completed Sept 2022 for below decks and top decks. Since this boat has been sitting on the dock for 6 years or so, she will a thorough recommissioning before your grand tour. This once beautiful Hatteras Motoryacht began her life as a 72' CPMY eventually undergoing a major renovation which has extended her to ~90' length overall, including the swim platform. She is a sight to behold with her pilothouse deck exterior finished in black, giving her a decidedly updated appearance. In the early 2000's, the main salon, master stateroom, VIP stateroom and guest quarters along with each of their private heads were tastefully redecorated in offwhite and beige tones making her interior bright and airy throughout. The owner of this Hatteras 36 Convertible has used the boat for fishing and cruising. The exterior surfaces are clean overall. The canvas looked good and the canvas over the aft deck was a recent addition. Isinglass was clear. The cushions on the bridge were cracking but functional. In the cabin, the wood features were finished nicely and had good shine with minimal scratches or marring. The carpet was recently installed. Lighting mostly appeared original and was mostly incandescent. The diesel engines are accessed through the salon floor. Aluminum framing holds the engine bay hatches in place and they appeared very solid. The engine compartment was dry and orderly. The generator has been removed and will need to be serviced or rebuilt. The props were dinged in shallow water recently and there is no prop vibration, the owner confirms. This owner replaced both starters, the hot water tank and the trim tab motor. The air conditioning is not working. Don't let this one get away! A Hatteras through and through, this 36 has broad shoulders and confronts the sea and swells like few other boats can. The aft deck is 12' 9" across and more than 9' long making room for the center rod holder pedestal, live well, big gunwales with rod holders, and a cleaning station with a sink. All wiring has been replaced with marine wiring and needs a junction box and inverter to be complete. The previous air conditioning unit was not serviceable and was discarded. A new unit needs to be installed. Running gear is present and shaft support bearings are needed as well as props. Rails are present.
