1972 Hyliner Gypsy 22
"The Baby Bertram" or so called by people who have seen this awesome boat or even better have had the chance to take a ride on her. This amazing hull design by Raymond Hunt is coveted by seasoned fisherman for its sea keeping abilities and very soft dry ride. This one is powered by Twin Suzuki 70 hp four stroke outboards spread out on the wide transom bracket. The twin power keeps the boats running attitude very stable and level. Performance is great with cruising speeds around 20knots and a max speed in the mid 30's. The newer four strokes add great fuel economy and reliability. This boat was completely retrofitted and set up for offshore big fish hunting. Swivel rod holders all around, big outriggers, full hard pipe soft top and full canvas enclosure all were replaced recently. She has a great ectronics package with redundant GPS system and a mix of the best arrays available in the time period purchased including a JRC 4 KW radar, Raymarine GPS and Furuno Fish finder. This is a truly must see boat. It was previously owned by a Suzuki tech rep and has multiple outboard parts included in the sale. Like extra power heads, lower ends and a bunch of factory boxed parts needed for service.
