1996 SEA DOO SPORTSTERRARE IN THIS CONDITION UP FOR SALE IS A VERY NICE 1996 SEA DOO SPORTSTER. IT HAS THE SINGLE 85HP JET DRIVE AND IS VERY QUICK. ALL SERVICE HAS BEEN PERFORMED AND MANY NEW PARTS REPLACED. THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE BOATS IS THE FUSE BLOCK, BUT THIS ONE HAS A NEW ONE ON IT SO EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL WORKS PERFECT. THE SEATS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE, AND THE HULL IS NEARLY PERFECT WITH NO CRACKS OR GELL COAT ISSUES. THE DECALS SHOW FADE AS EXPECTED, AND THE COWL COVER HAS A SMALL CRACK BUT FUNCTIONS PERFECT. HAS A NEW BATTERY, FULL SERVICE, AND I HAVE ALL THE MANUALS AND BOOKS FROM PREVIOUS OWNER SHOWING ALL RECORDS SINCE NEARLY NEW. COVER WORKS BUT HAS A FEW TEARS. 1988 Custom Universal Boats Inc., This is a custom made boat by Universal Boats Inc. It is an '88 26 foot long with a 7.5 foot beam, 24 degree dead rise. It is powered by a 1996 (port) and 1997 (starboard) twin mercury 225's (2 stroke carbs) which are mounted on a custom made aluminum gil bracket. There is a swim platform mounted on top of the bracket with a swimming ladder. It has a forward cabin which is good when you want to get out of the sun or rain. You can sleep two people inside with an air mattress. I will also throw in an air conditioner which sits on top and blows cold A/C through the sunroof hatch. The inside cabin is all lined with Herculiner and the floors padded with marine foam padding. It has fresh and salt water wash downs, forward and rear bilges, floodlight, VHF, Lenco trim tabs, hydraulic steering, live well, courtesy lights, and fish cleaning table. It comes with a splitscreen Lowrance 527 GPS and fish/depth finder. It has a stereo system with 2 bazooka speakers tubes and a bose on the t-top and 2 speakers in the center console. I have custom made covers for the leaning post and for both engines. I do not know how many hours on the engines. It has 150 gallon fuel tank. I have not performed a compression test but the engines run great. Boat comes with a triple axle trailer. This boat is ready to go fishing, diving, or joy riding. Everything on it works! This Yamaha 212 Limited S is in nice shape overall with its gel coat showing good shine and deep reflection. The boat has a keel guard and had some minor scratches near the bottom of the hull. Some gel coat cracks were visible on the port side, see photos. The seating and the snap-in floor coverings were gorgeous. There was one small nick in the rear cockpit seat noted. The hand-release knobs on each side of the bimini frame were missing and the bimini was held in place by some hand tools, see photos. Trailer tires appeared to be original and had tread remaining.
