fdnyfire Store 1998 Seadoo Sportster Jetboat 18 ft Twin Engine needs work , Hull in great shape, one engine runs fine, other needs rebuild or replace, had water in it from water intrusion , froze up but freed up with oil, might get away with just new top end, interior is really bad see pictures. Signed title for boat, have registration for trailer, but no bill of sale. Would advise seeing before bidding, to make sure its what you want, and not to much work over your head,also mapquest location to make sure its not to far for you to pick up. we know parts are more than what we will sell it for , but were not into parting it out, some one who can fix it , can have an all new boat with putting the work into it.Please zero ratings must be approved first or will be deleted out, we have this for sale locally and can remove early, but prefer auction to go to the end. NOW TO THE CONS OF THE BOAT FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT RESPOND JUST NEVER GOT AROUND TO FIXING IT DOES NOT AFFECT BOAT IN ANY WAY WE JUST ALWAYS RAISED ENGING COMPARTMENT DOOR AND LOOKED WHEN IN DOUBT. THE STATER WENT OUT ON OUR LAST RIDE OF THE SEASON LAST YEAR I DEBATED ON FIXING IT ALL WINTER BUT NEVER DID AND SINCE WE ARE SELLING OUR LOT I HAVE NO INTEREST IN FIXING IT. THE BOAT WILL RUN ABOUT 30 ON BATTERY UNTILL IT DIES. THIS IS A VERY NICE BOAT I HAVE WORKED VERY HARD FIXING THIS BOAT UP BUT HAVE LOST MY INTEREST IN IT I HAVE STATED EVERYTING I KNOW AND HAVE DONE TO THIS BOAT. This is a 2003 Seadoo Sportster boat with a Rotax 951cc carb'd engine. The engine has low compression in the rear cylinder (60psi) and will need a complete rebuild or major repair. This boat's meter shows only 70 hours and is extremely clean! The previous owner put gas in the oil tank thus causing the engine failure. The boat is being sold as-is where is. I can install a new engine for approx $2900 additional or SBT has these motors in stock if you want to do it yourself and save a lot of money. I sell a lot of these little boats and most 1995-1997 models sell for $4-$4500. This 2003 will make a great boat for someone that wants to do the repairs. or have me do them for an additional charge. REDUCED FOR FINAL SALE: $4000 1998 Seadoo Sportster 18' Ski/Tube bow rider. 18 foot jet boat with twin 2 stroke 720 rotax engines 170HP total. Seats 7. She is in really nice condition and has had the following done n the last 2 years; both engines rebuilt, interior vinyl replaced, new battery, new Sony CD player, trailer fully serviced. It has an issue with the Port motor not starting. It turns over and has good compression but wont start. The Starboard motor starts and runs great. Selling as is. Everything else works on this boat, switches, lights, bimini, etc. It does have 1 missing armrest on the port side which may be able to replaced from ebay. Has been a freshwater boat, but has not been used much in the last 2 years. It is a nice boat, it just needs some love and some mechanical work to get 100%. Trailer is in excellent condition. I have adjusted the price accordingly. Bimini top included, boat is in great overall cosmetic condition, brand new cover, 2 adult vests, fire extinguisher, and throwable flotation device which is everything you will need to pass a NC wildlife inspection. This jet boat has no exposed propellers below the boat so it is safe for the family and tubing/skiing. If you want to fish off this boat it only needs about a foot of water so you can go where the other prop boats cant...an added bonus. Comes with all receipts manuals and records. Both titles are in hand and notarized ready to go to the new owner...
